Fear The Walking Dead: "Grotesque" Review

Fear the Walking Dead returned for the remainder of its strained second season with a strong, solid solo episode for Nick. Now, don't mistake my positiveness for "Grotesque" as an indication that big things happened or that there were huge story developments. This was a (much needed) time out for the show, one that focused on Nick as he attempted to traverse the Mexican desert on foot. I'm a fan of quiet, reflective episodes of The Walking Dead. Or, in this case, its spinoff series. They make for good palate cleansers and, in the case of Fear the Walking Dead, a nice pause that allows the show to reset in the wake of its ensemble getting split up and scattered across Mexico. Returning for the second half of its second season Sunday, Fear the Walking Dead followed Nick down the long and perilous road to Tijuana. Yes, go ahead, you can say it. How long and perilous was it? Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 8 Review: Grotesque

Well that wasn't quite what I expected. With the way things ended with the mid-season finale, I didn't expect the show to go the route of a character centric episode for it's premiere with Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 8 . And boy was it a smart move. Nick is one of the more interesting characters, so having an episode solely about his continued journey in the infected parade was a nice treat.   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/08/fear-the-walking-dead-season-2-episode-8-review-grotesque/

Fear the Walking Dead Just Delivered Its Most "Grotesque" Episode Yet

Fear The Walking Dead 's second half-season premiere (third half season premiere, since there were two half seasons before this? Half of second season premiere, maybe?)
