'Fringe' Videos: Teasers and Possible Spoilers from Comic-Con

After last season's rather surprising finale, Fringe was set to take Comic-Con by storm in San Diego. The panel itself was rather packed, but FOX has released some video of what was seen for the many, many people who couldn't get in. //www.buddytv.com/articles/fringe/fringe-videos-teasers-and-poss-41164.aspx

Joshua Jackson Hospitalized for Allergic Reaction

Fringe 's Joshua Jackson was taken to the hospital Thursday for an unspecified allergic reaction, reports E! Online. "[He had an] allergic reaction; that's it. He's perfectly fine," said his rep, not saying exactly what said reaction was. Jackson checked out of the hospital that night, accompanied by his girlfriend, Diane Kruger. //www.tvguide.com/News/Joshua-Jackson-Hospitalized-1035598.aspx?rss=breakingnews

Fringe Season 4 Tease: Where Is Peter Bishop?

There are things happening here that I can’t even begin to explain. And I am not going anywhere until I can. So states Peter in the following video, which is meant as a tease for season four, but which depicts a scene from season one's "The Arrival." Following Peter's words, the screen goes blank - due to "interference," of course. What the heck does this mean for the September 23 premiere? Who knows. It's Fringe , after all. But check out the quick tease and take your best guesses now... //www.tvfanatic.com/2011/07/fringe-season-4-tease-where-is-peter-bishop/

Fringe Slide-Show: Walter Bishop's Greatest Lines

We still love you, Walter. John Noble, once again, got entirely snubbed for the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama category, despite massive Emmy buzz surrounding him. It's ultimately a huge disappointment for  Fringe  fans everywhere, especially considering the absolutely fantastic acting that Noble provided over the course of the show's third season. But on top of that great, conflicted sadness that his character, Walter Bishop, is capable of, there's also a wonderful comedic element that shows off Noble's comedic range as well. There are some great quotations that really show off both sides of Walter throughout the show's three seasons, and we've compiled them in a slide-show below as a consolation prize to  Fringe , John Noble, Fringe  fans, and ourselves, who are just as disappointed as you are. Fringe: First Season 4 Promo Released

It's getting to be that time again.  Fringe  season 4 only just started filming, but it's already time for some pretty awesome promos for the show's return in September. Ari Margolis, who created the brilliant "Friday death slot" trailer for the show, along with many others, recently posted on his twitter account another ad. This one's just titled "?" though, and runs for a grand total of ten seconds. "There are things happening that I can't even begin to explain," Peter warns Olivia in the season one clip used for the promo (it comes from episode four, "The Arrival"). "And I am not going anywhere until I can."  The clip then flashes to various shots from past seasons, including the shot of the Observers from the very end of season three. Then, the mysterious graphic pictured above appears. Looks like this promo might be the start of a cool viral campaign. I can't wait to see what Margolis and the advertising team for  Fringe  have in mind as we draw closer and closer to the September 23 premiere of  Fringe  season four. Emmys 2011: The best dramas that WON'T be nominated

This is the third year that we've done the "best shows that won't get Emmy nominations" posts, and for the first time "Friday Night Lights" won't be on our list. That's because yours truly is already on record as saying the show, whose series finale airs on NBC Friday (July 15), will finally get its first nod for best drama series when the Emmy nominations are announced Thursday morning. It may be a case of thinking with my heart more than my head, and it wouldn't be a surprise if "FNL" misses the cut again, but we're not having it both ways. (My predictions for the nominees in best drama series and a host of other categories are at GoldDerby.com).There are, however, a few repeats from last year's list. The shows are just as deserving (if not moreso) than they were last year, but we're once again figuring that a combination of a fairly crowded field... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/07/emmys-2011-the-best-dramas-that-wont-be-nominated.html

Michelle Krusiec Cast on Fringe

Michelle Krusiec has been cast on Fringe as... someone. The actress ( The Secret Life of the American Teenager , General Hospital ) will recur on season four of this Fox drama, though the network simply describes her role as "New Female Character." Wait, a mystery from Fringe ?!? That's so unlike this show. Chime in now with your guesses on how Krusiec will be used. //www.tvfanatic.com/2011/07/michelle-krusiec-cast-on-fringe/

Fox Creates Comic-Con Posters for Fringe, Bones, Glee Animated Shows & More

Fox is getting into the Comic-Con spirit by creating special posters for the shows that it will be bringing to San Diego in a few weeks (as originally reported by  THR ).  Earlier this week we posted the schedule for all Fox show panels, including which actors/actresses were going to be in attendance ( read more here ). The network will be hosting panels for returning shows like  Bones ,  Fringe ,  Glee , as well as its animated shows (like  Family Guy ,  The Cleveland Show , and  The Simpsons ).  The network also plans to introduce some of its new fall shows like  Terra Nova ,  The Finder , and  Allen Gregory  at Comic-Con. Fans can pick up copies of the poster at the big Fox booth on the exhibition floor at Comic-Con, were they can be signed by various Fox actors/actresses and show producers. Fringe Season 4 Begins Filming Next Week

It should be interesting to see what exactly transpires when  Fringe  returns for its fourth season in September. In the meantime, fans looking for hints about what happens next need to look no further than the show's filming,  which begins on July 14  in Vancouver. There's a lot to be looking for when the cameras start rolling, and I'm sure fans will be keeping their eyes open. Fans will probably be looking out the most for Joshua Jackson, who is returning to the show in some capacity, despite the plot twist in the season three finale that his character "never existed." Executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman have assured fans that Jackson still has a job on the show, but just exactly what that job is? Well, that's  Fringe 's biggest mystery right now. My guess? He'll be bald and will wear a fedora upon his return. Fringe Will Run for Five Seasons, Not Six, Says Star

Fringe  is undoubtedly one of the best shows running on network television, but if star John Noble's prediction is correct, it won't be running for much longer. "When we first joined the show, J.J. Abrams said that he thought it was a six-year show, but that's like saying you're going to climb Mount Everest," Noble, who plays Walter Bishop in the series,  told Allocine . "It's very hard to even [have a show] on, let alone to do six years." Noble thinks that five years is a reasonable expectation for how long the show will run. "Six [seasons] is a very long time," he said. "But if we don't maintain the level of our production and our stories this year, then there won't be another year."  Fringe  is slated to begin filming for its fourth season next week. Noble acknowledged that the show's survival would be tough, especially with the complex storyline that developed over the third season. "I think the fans have been amazing, but the bottom line of television is income," he said. "One of the issues with  Fringe  now is that you can't just turn it on and watch it. In the first season you could, because it was more procedural."
