And to promote the 13 episodes, the network is posting a new clip every day from now until the premiere. That's like an episode's worth of clips, and every one of them promises to be delightfully out of context -- like this first one, which finds the entire Planet Express team assuming different genders. 'Futurama' gets two more years on Comedy Central

The future is looking pretty good for "Futurama."Comedy Central has ordered 26 more episodes, which will keep the show on the air through 2013, sources close to the show confirm to Zap2it. With the renewal, "Futurama's" post-FOX life (52 episodes plus four movies that aired before the revival of the weekly series) will be almost as long as its 72-episode run on FOX. The new order -- which is either for Season 7 if you count each order as one season or Seasons 8 and 9 if you go by the way Comedy Central airs the episodes -- will follow the same pattern, with half airing next year and the rest in 2013.Frankly, we don't care how Comedy Central numbers them. Futurama Rockets to a Milestone

If there was ever a time for Futurama fans to go on a bender (get it?!), it was last night. Because after 11 years, two networks and a whole bunch of time off in between, the damn thing finally celebrated 100 episodes. Ever since Matt Groening unleashed his follow-up to The Simpsons in 1999, the sci-fi snark-toon has had trouble finding its footing. It was on Fox. It was off Fox. People loved it. People hated it. Its ratings sank. Its DVD sales soared. Then Comedy Central rebooted the show almost seven years after Fox pulled the plug, and folks were freaked out that things wouldn't be the same. Were some of the new batch's early episodes not mega-gems? Sure, but even a weak Futurama is better than no Futurama, right? To Read More Click Here .
