More ‘Gatchaman Crowds’ Anime Being Explored

Sometimes it’s easy to ignore the corporate aspect of how anime is produced, but it can lead to some interesting potential. Nippon Television Network Corporation has completed the acquisition of 54.3% of Tatsunoko as a way to have more in-house material to work with that they actually own themselves. While  mentioning  titles like Time Bokan , they also went on to talk a bit about  Gatchaman Crowds . Sentai Filmworks Acquires ‘Gatchaman Crowds’ Anime Series

Crunchyroll Adds ‘Gatchaman Crowds’ For Summer 2013 Anime Lineup

Adding another series to their summer lineup, Crunchyroll has announced the pickup of  Gatchaman Crowds , which will premiere this Friday at 2:30pm ET for premium users and a week later for free users. The series is slated for a twelve episode run and is directed by Kenji Nakamura, with series composition by Toshiya Ono for Tatsunoko Productions. First Look At ‘Gatchaman Crowds’ G-Suits

Get ready for something that’s going to be a bit divisive among fans as the  official Gatchaman Crowds site  has let loose with a variety of character artwork and information, including a look at the G-Suits that the main characters use. This series is an updated version of the very popular and enduring  Gatchaman property, once adapted into English as  Battle of the Planets  and released several years ago uncut by ADV Films and this fall by Sentai Filmworks.
