Spinelli ends up bursting into the room and warns Sonny to get his hands off of Maxie. As Edward quizzes Michael about how he feels his first day of work went, Carly shows up. Michael is not happy with her for checking up on him. Carly thinks that Michael is bored with the job and attempts to convince him to find another job. After Edward ends up insinuating that he would hate to lose Abby from the company because of Michael's departure, Michael pretends to be interested in the company.
