'Grey's Anatomy' "Time Warp" Sneak Peeks Season 6, Episode 15

For starters, the kid who plays little Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), she has Meredith eyes. We've already heard much about this time-jumping episode of Grey's Anatomy, and we know that we'll find the root of Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) Nazi ways as well as that of Richard (James Pickens, Jr.) and Ellis. But there's more to this episode of Grey's than a little blast from the past. Turns out, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) probably wants to show off so he revives the hospital lecture series, where Richard, Bailey, and Callie (Sara Ramirez) all present pivotal and landmark surgical cases in the past. For Bailey that entails reflecting on her first days as a lowly intern under a harsh resident, Callie looks back on a polio case (during a time when she was still interested in men), while the Chief takes us back to a case where he and Mer's mom Ellis worked on a patient diagnosed with GRID, later to be called AIDS. Aside from the three, we'll also see Joe the bartender during his younger days (check out the hair), as well as Thatcher and Meredith as a child. Source & Video

Grey's Anatomy: First Look on "Time Warp"

It's probably all the Lost fever that has both Losties and non-Losties gripping with concepts of time and space, but Grey's Anatomy will also find itself doing some time-jumps on its upcoming installment. But unlike Lost and its crazy mind-numbing storylines, Grey's Anatomy will be infinitely simpler: people will just be kind of younger. On "Time Warp" we'll get to see Bailey (Chandra Wilson) before she became the Nazi that she is, the beginning of the Chief's (James Pickens, Jr.) affair with Mer's (Ellen Pompeo) mom Ellis, and Callie (Sara Ramirez) pre-Seattle Grace. On the episode, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) as interim Chief, restores the hospital's lecture series. As members of the panel, Richard, Bailey and Callie all discuss pivotal surgical cases from their pasts, including the Chief's recollection on working with Ellis on a patient diagnosed with GRID, the virus that would be known as AIDS. J. August Richards and Sarah Paulson are set to play the younger versions of the Chief and Ellis. Source & Preview

'Grey's Anatomy' 6.15 Preview: The Time Warp

"Grey's Anatomy" will take a different route next week with a series of flashbacks to the time when the doctors of Seattle Grace decided to be life savers. In his new role as Chief, Derek restores the hospital lecture series, and Richard, Bailey and Callie present to the group pivotal surgical cases from their pasts. Bailey reflects on her first days as a shy resident, Callie looks back on a polio case, and Richard recalls a case in which he and Ellis worked on a patient diagnosed with GRID, a virus later called AIDS. "The Time Warp" will air on Thursday, February 18. J. August Richards and Sarah Paulson have been tapped to be the younger versions of Richard and Ellis respectively. The 1982 throwback will reveal how the previous Chief and Meredith's mom were involved in an affair. Meanwhile in Bailey's part, she will be seen in early 2000s when she was still Mandy and under supervision of a character played by Missi Pyle. "We're going to see Bailey when she still called herself Mandy and had not yet learned to speak up," said creator Shonda Rhimes. "Mandy is Bailey's inner geek, and Chandra [Wilson] plays the Mandy of it all brilliantly." Source Here
