New ‘Gundam Build Fighters’ Anime Series Coming

With the twenty-five episode series that wrapped up this past spring, most folks expected to never see  Gundam Build Fighters  again. While it was left more than open enough and just barely tapped what it could do, it did end things well enough that you had a sense of closure for enough of it. But now word has come via the official Japanese site that they’ve  announced  that a new series is in the works. Latest ‘Gundam Build Fighters’ Fall Anime Promo Revealed

With a lot of shows airing this year, one that has me the most curious in seeing how well they can pull it off is  Gundam Build Fighters . This   may be the next best thing to  G-Gundam  for me as we see Sunrise trying to change up the formula a bit. With 2014 being the 35th anniversary of  Gundam , we’ve seen a lot of interpretations over the years and this one is obviously a bit younger skewing, but it also looks like it could just be a heck of a lot of fun and very well animated. Set for broadcast in October 2013, the series will be directed by Kenji Nagasaki ( No. 6 ) and written by Yousuke Kuroda ( Mobile Suit Gundam 00 ).
