Hawaii Five-0 Finale Recap 5/18/18: Season 8 Episode 25 ” Waiho wale kahiko”

McGarrett and Danny thought the only thing they had to worry about was opening their brand new restaurant on tonight’s all-new episode of "Hawaii Five-0". Opening a restaurant could be a headache. They had to work to make sure that the wiring was up to code, they had to find someone willing to do the renovations on the cheap, and they also had to buy additional tools because their first one was stolen. There was just so much to do to get the restaurant up and running that both men realized they would need additional funding because it wasn’t like they were rich. The guys were a specialized police officer who knew they couldn’t use their pension to sink into a restaurant and so they turned towards potential investors. Their friend Kamekona was a businessman and he was thinking about investing in the restaurant through the guys would have to agree to his contract first before he gave a quarter of a million dollars. Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 25 Review: Waiho wale kahiko (Ancients Exposed)

You know the only thing worse than two lackluster, season-long storylines? That would be carrying them over into the next season. Yet that's exactly what happened on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 25 .   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/05/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-25-review-waiho-wale-kahiko-ancie/

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 24 Review: Ka Lala Kaukonakona Haki 'Ole I Ka Pa A Ka Makani Kona (The Tough Branch That Does Not Break in the Kona Gale)

For a series set on an island, I guess it's acceptable to have an episode that pretty much just treads water. Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 24 was a blend of international intrigue and illegal tactics, of emotional action and wacky co-stars. And it ended with a scene that may or may not lead to tying up a dangling storyline.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/05/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-24-review-ka-lala-kaukonakona-hak/

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 23 Review: Ka Hana A Ka Makua, O Ka Hana No Ia A Keiki (What Parents Will Do, Children Will Do)

This was contemplation of parents and their children, punctuated with gunfire. Junior helped out an old friend in trouble on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 23 . But first, let's talk about the funniest scene in the episode when Eddie and McGarrett have a visit to the veterinarian. Props to Will Sasso, the MadTV veteran who played the veterinarian. Eddie was there for a followup after being shot on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 2 .   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/05/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-23-review-ka-hana-a-ka-makua-o-ka/

Hawaii Five-0 Recap 4/27/18: Season 8 Episode 22

Jerry decided to go in undercover at Kaneohe Psychiatric Hospital on tonight’s all-new episode of "Hawaii Five-0". Jerry had always wanted the chance to prove himself. He had joined Five-0 because he wanted to get out into the field and do his part like everyone else, however, the team hasn’t used Jerry as much he thought they would. They thought he was better suited at the office and had wanted to leave him there until Jerry volunteered for this case. The team was investigating the death of Ben Pollard. Pollard had been a long-term resident at Kaneohe Psychiatric Hospital and he had been found dead in a ravine. The hospital staff had all claimed that he must have wandered off and that was odd because Pollard had been there for years without leaving the institution, so it made little sense why that would suddenly change or why someone wanted Pollard dead. Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 22 Review: Kopi Wale No I Ka I'a A 'Eu No Ka Ilo (Though the Fish is Well Salted, The Maggots Crawl)

Finally, we got to see Jerry doing actual cop stuff. And Duke was even brought out of the background to the forefront of the action on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 22 . Jerry has had his badge for half the season now. But everyone is getting into the action more than him, excepting maybe Noelani and Eric. They're meant to be support staff, not full-fledged members of Five-0.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/04/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-22-review-kopi-wale-no-i-ka-ia-a/

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 21 Review: Ahuwale ka nane huna (The Answer to the Riddle is Seen)

No Adam, no problem. The ongoing organized-crime storyline was but an afterthought on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 21 . And the episode was better off for it. Instead, we got a fun guest star and a cold case, which was a winning combination. Harry Langford was back, still trying to find himself in his retirement years after leaving Mi6. When Harry last visited Oahu on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 3 , he was making a living as a high-stakes gambler while hanging out with his girlfriend,Veronique.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/04/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-21-review-ahuwale-ka-nane-huna-th/

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 20 Review: He Lokomaika'i Ka Manu O Kaiona (Kind Is The Bird of Kaiona)

Finally, Jerry got turned loose again. Also, Catherine found a flimsy excuse to come back to Oahu and McGarrett on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 20 . Oh, yeah. Adam was around, too, but in blessedly small doses. I like the character, but not the organized-crime task force storyline. We even got some Eddie, who was the only actual hero in this episode. Granted, Catherine completed her mission, but recovering a cell phone and backtracing calls isn't nearly as exciting as rescuing Junior from a ravine. ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/04/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-20-review-he-lokomaikai-ka-manu-o/

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 19 Review: Aohe mea make i ka hewa; make no i ka mihi ole (No one has ever died for the mistakes he has made only because he didn't repent)

You just knew Jessie wasn't in it for the long haul. Things go from bad to worse for Adam on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 19 . Well, at least things went better for McGarrett, who had the solutions for 18 murders handed to him, largely thanks to his father. Let's go with Adam's troubles first, since this organized-crime task force storyline doesn't seem to be anywhere near being concluded.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/04/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-19-review-aohe-mea-make-i-ka-hewa/

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 18 Review: E Ho'oko Kuleana (To Do One's Duty)

I'm betting Adam is wishing he stayed on the mainland with Kono. It was another tough day for him as his organized-crime task force went in the crapper on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 18 . I think that's the best way to describe it, after the two Yakuza to whom Jessie was closest turned up dead. Two cops, with guns drawn, pulled over Adam and found Hideki's dead body in his trunk. It seems someone had phoned in a tip about just such a possibility.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/03/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-18-review-e-hooko-kuleana-to-do-o/
