Hawaii Five-0 Fall Recap 2/2/18: Season 8 Episode 15 “He puko’a kani ‘aina”

Danny’s Uncle Vito came to town to help him and McGarrett with their restaurant on tonight’s all-new episode of "Hawaii Five-0" however the man may have been more than they bargained for. The older man had a "Jersey" sense of humor and thought his jokes about murdering people was funny. Also, Uncle Vito thought he had been brought on to help the restaurant by committing a crime. He had wanted to set fire to the place and had told them that he could make it look like an accident. He said that he could sell it to the inspector as faulty wiring and rats and there wouldn’t a problem as long he was the one talking to the inspector. Except the guys didn’t want him to burn down their own restaurant. They knew that most restaurants failed within their first year and so they brought in Uncle Vito to ensure that such a thing wouldn’t happen to them. The guys asked Vito to help them cut costs with construction by doing some of the work for them and so Vito reluctantly agreed to help. He still didn’t think the place was going to make money without some creative business decisions and that was his way of helping usually had a lot of breaks built in. Vito was back at the hotel bar before long and he was talking up quite a few younger women with one of them especially capturing his attention seeing as she was responding to his lame attempts at flirting. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Adam’s First Mission

When Adam first came back to Hawaii Five-0, it was incredibly frustrating to watch him hang around with his Five-0 friends and never be offered a position he seemed so qualified for. But this idea is much better. Putting Adam in charge of his forming a new, specialized task force is a stroke of brilliance. It utilizes his experience in the most positive way. Adam hasn’t just been looking for a job or a career, he’s been looking for something that gives him drive. He watched his wife find her passion, so it was only fair that he find his. Plus, McGarrett really, really needs help catching whoever orchestrated the executions of Hawaii’s top criminals, and an FBI agent. Because Adam knows that world, he knows exactly what to instruct a recruit to look for. But he can’t go in himself, as he repeatedly, publicly renounced his claim to his family’s legacy. He needs a fresh face, like newly paroled Jessie, to infiltrate that world. There’s not much Adam can do to convince Jessie if she doesn’t want to take the risk. But Adam is the type of guy who is willing to stick his neck out for someone he believes in. READ MORE...

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 14 Review: N keiki a Kalaihaohia

You can't go too wrong starting with a little grave-robbing, especially when you combine that with an incidental murder. A pedestrian case of the week wrapped up early left room for the development of other storylines on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 14 . Let's dispatch the main storyline rather quickly, just like the writers did.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/01/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-14-review-na-keiki-a-kalaihaohia/

But Lou knew where Will went wrong and so he tried to advise him. He told his son that God gave him two ears and one mouth for a reason, however, Will wasn’t really listening to his father because he got an alert on his phone. Will, of course, pointed out this car to his dad and so Lou decided to go check it out. But Lou told his son to wait in the car while he handled things and he hadn’t thought the situation was going to take long. He approached the vehicle identifying himself as a police officer and had asked the man driving that he should step out with his hands on his head, but the suspect refused to do either. Brad Woodward had decided to stay in the car because he hadn’t wanted to leave the car alive. Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 13 Review: O Ka Mea Ua Hala, Ua Hala Ia (What Is Gone Is Gone)

That, ladies and gentlemen, is how to do a change-of-pace episode. Grover drew on his own painful experiences to save a suicidal man on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 13 . Little action (one small shootout), no reality-twisting plot-lines (unless you count Tani beatingMcGarrett on paddleboards), but there was still plenty of tension and suspense.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/01/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-13-review-o-ka-mea-ua-hala-ua-hal/

Hawaii Five-0 Fall Winter Premiere Recap 1/5/18: Season 8 Episode 12 “The Round Up”

Special Agent Douglas Fischer of the FBI came to the Big Island to lead a task force against organized crime on tonight’s all-new episode, but unfortunately, he also made himself a target. He held a televised news conference on his first day and basically said he was willing to do anything to put an end to the violence plaguing the island. He also mentioned that the violence seems to have picked up in the last few weeks and that he would get answer the question of why that was. So the people he was bound to go after had decided that it was best to make a preemptive strike and they went after him. They bombed his home killing everyone inside which included Fischer, his wife, and his young daughter. His daughter couldn’t have been any older than ten years old and she had been clutching her teddy bear when she died. But McGarrett vowed to catch whoever was responsible. He had met Fischer earlier and the two had had some difficulties with understanding the other’s position because Fischer suspected Adam could be the reason why the Island blew up recently. Fischer had believed that the fact the crimewave kicked in right around the time Adam returned to the Island without his wife wasn’t a coincidence and that neither was Michelle Shiroma’s recent passing. He knew that both had been connected to the Yakuza and that Adam could have taken over without anyone being aware. READ MORE...

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 12 Review: Ka Hopu Nui 'Ana (The Round Up)

OK, that was an interesting twist. There's a new player in organized crime on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 12 , but so far, McGarrett and Five-0 only know who it isn't . It's unlikely anyone from the gangs whose bosses wound up dead on the floor of that makeshift holding area. Granted, it could be an ambitious lieutenant, but it's unlikely he would have the brains or the resources to pull off a scheme such as that.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/01/hawaii-five-0-season-8-episode-12-review-ka-hopu-nui-ana-the-rou/

McGarrett had decided out of the blue to give himself a buzz haircut and had tried to give the other guys one as well. But the others were simply torturing themselves by playing Go Fish for hours on end. So they were all ready to leave the quarantine and had been to see someone in a hazmat suit coming their way because they thought he was the doctor that had been treating them. But the man that walked into their room hadn’t been their doctor. It had been some stranger and he had pulled a gun on all of them because he apparently wanted them to tie each other up. So McGarrett tried talking to the guy and telling him that he put himself at risk by coming into the quarantine without knowing how to properly prepare himself yet the stranger hadn’t been concerned by that and had actually taken the mask off his face because he wanted to see if Danny remembered him.
