An injured soldier brings his horse to heartland in hopes that Amy can get him ready to be sold as a rodeo horse. Amy has a different idea when she sees how much he cares for the horse, and tries to get him riding again. Meanwhile Ashley still hasn't come home from Italy and won't call Caleb.
