Annalese is suspended and may be charged with murder; Michael and Ric try to dissuade her from destroying her career and taking full blame for Hewitt's death. Ric discovers Tom's research is fake. His doubts about Tom's dedication to the job are confirmed when Tom makes a serious mistake with a patient. Elliot breaks all the rules by insisting on operating on a very hairy patient. Meanwhile, Rachel has to come to terms with her first dead body.
