Ric tells Donna he is determined to save Maria's life after the hit-and-run accident, but Donna doubts his loyalty when she thinks he is just trying to get one up on Michael. Oliver tries to protect Daisha from further upset over Maria's accident, but his overly sympathetic approach does not quite achieve all he had hoped with Chrissie. Jac is keen to prove she can handle the pressure of running Darwin in Connie's absence, but she does not anticipate Joseph's disappearing accident.
