Cara gets a shock when her husband's lover Nicole is admitted in labour and is compelled to take drastic action when Nicole's husband Sean realises he is not the father of the baby. In the aftermath of his hostage ordeal, Guy wants to avoid the stress of surgery but finds himself has to deal with a comically morbid patient who needs his expertise, while Mo focuses on caring for her surrogate son William.
