Michelle and Rod Emelle have enjoyed life in the duplex apartment they share with their 5-year-old daughter, Maya, but now they would like to buy their own home--one that is large enough for the three of them, friends, relatives and maybe even a pet or two. The couple has been discouraged by the quality of the homes and neighborhoods they have seen so far, but they are hopeful that a new realtor can get their house hunt back on track.
