'House' - 'Black Hole' Season 6, Episod 15 Recap

Normally, a show that goes by so fast that I need a drag chute just to figure out what's going on would turn me away from it, but the dramatic tension that 'House' creates kept me velcroed in front of it all the way to the end. Sure my head still hurts from trying to understand the science of it all, but the dramatic and even comedic angles makes for some fine-tasting Advil. This week, House and his jolly band of medical investigators have to decipher the strange case of a teenage girl who suffers some sort of heart infection that causes blood to foam out of her mouth. Then it switches gears into a neurological disorder when she starts having strange hallucinations from a black hole to a ghostly image of her younger self imploring her to tell her boyfriend her big "secret." As usual, the case is intriguing from start to finish. This one almost sucked my eyeballs right out of my sockets because of the bizarre psychological twist it took during the first third of the episode. It had me scratching my head, even if the ending seemed painfully obvious when it came to light. To Read More Click Here .

'House' Season 6, Episode 15 Recap: Your cheating heart (and other organs)

No Lucas, plenty of Taub, lots of Wilson - last night's House sounds like a dream come true. Except what a case of the blahs. A young woman's illness was caused by sex? You don't say! House was outrageously, humorlessly crotchety? Oh, that's fun! Thirteen's hair looked really pretty? Well, I have to give her that. If only the rest of 'Black Hole' were as lustrous as Thirteen's locks. To Read More Click Here If You Missed This Episode Watch It Here Online Now

House Episode Recap: "Black Hole" Season 6, Episode 15

A high school student is admitted to the hospital and suffers from hallucinations. Meanwhile, Taub complains about his wife's distrust, and Wilson tries to furnish his condo. THE PATIENT During a field trip to the planetarium, a high school senior named Nick sneaks in some vodka and shares it with his girlfriend, Abby. Soon, she lands in Princeton-Plainsboro. The docs suspect excessive drinking may have affected her heart, but her boyfriend vouches that she rarely drinks. Turns out he may be right because the X-rays show she has a black hole in her heart that they can't diagnose. Abby begins to crash during a test, so they cut her open and manage to massage her heart back to life. Once alcohol abuse is ruled out, their next guess is she has an allergy to something in her system -- Nick's semen. That forces the kids to discuss their sex lives in front of their parents. House M.D 6 x 15 Black Hole- Preview

Surely the best way to reunite with a former addiction is to be welcomed by a promising teaser. After being absent for most of the season, I return to anticipating my favorite diagnostic team battle it out with a case considered a black hole. So dark that not even the world's (Plainsboro-Fictional-World) best diagnostician can see the light. When CT scans and functional MRIs leave House's team clueless as to why a High School Senior blacks out during a class field trip and continues to hallucinate in the hospital, House take up again with his trial and error scheme. However when all treatments fails, he attempts at one last controversial approach to diagnosing her. After all, he is House. He never stops until he solves his puzzle. And how do astrologers infer a black hole? Track the movement of a group of stars that orbit a region in space. In the same way, he monitors her cognitive patterns and looks for clues. Meanwhile, Taub airs his dirty laundry at work and finds confidence in Foreman. Wilson, on the other hands, attempts to furnish his condo unit after being challenged by House , "Furnish your condo or admit that you are lonely inside." Glad to see things are still twisted and dark in the old "House". Consider me sucked in.
