'Human Target' Star Mark Valley Joins 'Harry's Law'

'Human Target' alum Mark Valley has found a new gig. (And no, he's not taking the seat in the pilot's cockpit on ABC's 'Pan Am' like many of us had hoped.) With his most recent Fox drama getting the axe after just two seasons of comic book-inspired vigilante justice, Valley is now headed back to the courtroom and back to work with David E. Kelley, this time for Season 2 of NBC's 'Harry's Law.' 'Harry's Law' stars Kathy Bates as Harriet "Harry" Kern, a former patent lawyer-turned-legal defense for the common man. Her new practice is run out of a shoe store, a quirk that should come as no surprise considering Kelley's offbeat brand of dramedy. WC 11: Human Target: Dead or Alive?

Human Target   stars   Mark Valley ,   Jackie Earle Haley   and Janet Montgomery   and executive producer Matthew Miller appeared at WonderCon Saturday for a look back at the recently concluded second season. Of course, the question on everyone's mind was: Have we seen the last of   Christopher Chance , or will Fox bring the series back for a third season?   After a sizzle reel cut exclusively for WonderCon was shown to the assembled fans, the cast chatted about the experiences their characters had this past season and how the dynamic of the show was changed by the addition of two new and female characters. (Miller said he belives the second season should be coming out on DVD by late summer.)   Read More... //tv.ign.com/articles/115/1159216p1.html?RSSwhen2011-04-03_142500&RSSid=1159216&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ignfeeds%2Ftv+%28IGN+TV%29&utm_content=Google+Reader

'The Chicago Code,' 'Lie to Me,' 'Bob's Burgers': Keep 'em or kill 'em?

Bubble Watch 2011 continues with FOX, whose bubble may be smaller than other networks' because of what we know is coming in the fall. The network will debut the U.S. version of "The X Factor" in the fall, and if it has the same sort of footprint that "American Idol" does in the spring, it will displace as much as three hours' worth of other programming. Considering FOX only programs 15 hours of primetime each week, that's pretty significant. So shows like, say, "Lie to Me" or "The Chicago Code" that may have gotten the benefit of the doubt in another year could be in somewhat more precarious positions this time. And with the lower-rated "Fringe" already having locked up a spot for 2011-12, it's going to be tight. Here are five shows we think are on the bubble. Let us know whether you want FOX to keep or cut them, and sound off in the comments."Bob's Burgers"The... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/03/the-chicago-code-lie-to-me-bobs-burgers-keep-em-or-kill-em.html

Save 'Human Target,' Again

Stop me if you've heard this one before: FOX's  Human Target  is on death watch, and it needs the viewing public to save it. Yes, the Mark Valley-led action series is in pretty much the same position it was this time last year. I still remember the waiting, the worrying, the rumors that the network was going to choose between  Target  and  Lie To Me . It wasn't a pretty sight, and I knew that we were lucky to see a second season. Yet even after an overhaul both behind and in front of the camera, we're still back in the same tough position. And I'm still of the belief that this show needs to be saved. Why? Several of the difficulties  Human Target encountered this season were through no fault of its own. This show has been bounced around the FOX schedule more than a ball in a game of Plinko. The show saw its season delayed at least twice, and its time slot moved from Wednesdays to Fridays and back again, before it even returned to the air. Once it was on, it suffered repeatedly from last-minute shifts that left its audience struggling to find it. While a preemption for a Presidential speech was certainly understandable, it was frustrating to see the season's final two episodes unceremoniously pushed back an hour to make room for  American Idol . The final three episodes of season two all aired out of the show's regular time slot - shuffling it when it needed its regular audience the most. Guerrero Takes Matters Into His Own Hands When His Son Is Threatened on 'Human Target' (VIDEO)

Guerrero is the literal interpretation of the "man of mystery" on 'Human Target' (Wed., 9PM on FOX). But in this second season premiere, a layer of secrecy was removed. When he and Ames were listening in on a rogue CIA agent's planning, they overheard him talking about Guerrero. The agent had boxes of files on him. "It's pretty scary reading," he told his associates. In the files, he turned to a page that went into forbidden territory for Guerrero. "It says here he has a kid," the agent said. "See, that's what I mean by a pressure point." Read More... //www.tvsquad.com/2011/02/10/human-target-season-finale-marshall-pucci-video/

Interview: 'Human Target's' Mark Valley Takes Aim At Season 2

Continuing from   our chat at the beginning of Season 2 , Mark shared his thoughts on how different things have been since the end of Season 1, how Season 2 is finally putting the show in the public eye, and even what he might like to see should the series advance to Season 3. 'Human Target' Is Still Getting Rescheduled

Programming alert, Human Target fans: our show is still getting rescheduled. After enduring the schedule changes due to the cancellation of Lone Star, and later the (completely understandable) preemption due to the Presidential speech regarding the tragedy in Arizona, the Mark Valley-led show is being shuffled yet again. Even as it closes in on the end of season two, FOX is continuing to move the action series around the schedule. An all-new episode will replace House tonight at 8 PM ET/PT. The series will also air on its usual day, this Wednesday, February 2 - but due to American Idol, has been pushed back to an hour later at 9 PM ET/PT. That same time change applies to the season-two finale, which will air at 9 PM ET/PT next Wednesday, February 9.
