Justified: Photos from the Season 3 Premiere

Justified  is back in less than a week. If you're not really excited by that sentence, you obviously haven't seen this fantastic show. Season 2 elevated the series from thoroughly entertaining fare to one of the best shows on television, and it looks like the trend just might continue for Justified season 3. We've seen the first few episodes, and trust us, they're good. We've got a few photos from the kick-ass season three premiere, titled "The Gunfighter." The photos are only taken from one scene rather early on in the episode, when Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) comes to pay Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) a visit at the marshal's office. As you might can imagine, Boyd's a little angry that Raylan robbed him of his opportunity to get revenge on Dickie Bennett (Jeremy Davies). After all, the events of the season 2 finale "Bloody Harlan" saw Dickie shoot Boyd's girlfriend Ava (Joelle Carter). Dickie was arrested at the end of that episode after Raylan stopped Boyd from killing Dickie in retaliation. Read More... //

'Justified': First Season 3 pics, new promo show Raylan and Boyd at odds

The first episode of Season 3 of "Justified" is called "The Gunfighter." We're just going to bask in the awesomeness of that for a minute.OK. With that out of the way, we can move on to some of the first images from the new season, which premieres Jan. 17, as well as a new teaser from FX. The theme of both photos and video is "Raylan and Boyd are not happy with each other."That's not really a big surprise, considering the uneasy relationship Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd (Walton Goggins) have had over the last couple years and Boyd's return to the criminal life at the end of Season 2. They found a way to co-exist in the past, but the prospects for that continuing this year don't look very good.As evidence, we offer the body language in the following three photos. And if that doesn't convince you, hit play on the video at the... //

'Supernatural's' Jim Beaver returns to 'Justified': What does this mean for Bobby?

"Supernatural" fans are anxiously awaiting the show's post-holiday return on January 6 to find out whether or not Bobby actually kicked the bucket -- but it appears that Jim Beaver is already moving on."Just booked a new arc on 'Justified.' Could be as many as 7 episodes, maybe more. Same character as last time," Beaver tweeted on Dec. 8. Zap2it confirms that Beaver has been booked for episode 307 and 309, with an option to expand the role in a multi-episode arc. Beaver, who worked with "Justified" star Timothy Olyphant on "Deadwood" as well, previously appeared in the Season 2 episode "Cottonmouth." His character, Shelby, is a mine manager who narrowly escaped death after getting caught in a heist.Beaver has appeared on many series during his run on "Supernatural," including "Breaking Bad," "The Mentalist," and a major "Harper's Island" role -- so the fact that he's working elsewhere doesn't necessarily speak to Bobby's condition on... //

Justified Season 3: Raylan and Boyd Shoot 'Em Up in New Teaser

It hardly feels like any time has passed since Justified  season 2 went off the air. Maybe that's because the season finale, "Bloody Harlan," was just so insanely memorable. It was probably the best episode of Justified yet, featuring a pretty intense shootout (in which we saw Tim's sniper work in action once again), an even more intense standoff between Loretta (Kaitlyn Dever) and Mags (Margo Martindale), and a sadly satisfying final scene. But while the season 2 finale seems like it only happened a few months ago, we're already approaching the Justified season 3 premiere. It seems soon partially because of "Bloody Harlan," but also because it's been pushed up a month: while Justified  premiered its second season back in February, season 3 is going to hit in January. As such, FX is already pumping out a few trailers for the show. The first trailer hit earlier this month, and you can watch it here . The second trailer hit on Tuesday, and you can watch it below.  //
