Kathy Griffin and Bravo End MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST

Not the best of news today for us Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List fans, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Miss Griffin is no longer on the D-List. Bravo confirmed yesterday that the show’s sixth season, which aired last summer, was indeed the last. Instead, the network has ordered four stand-up comedy specials starring Griffin (the comedienne has previously performed eight original comedy specials for the network). One new hourlong special will air quarterly this year. Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List has won two Emmys and is nominated for a Producers Guild of America Award. To Read More Click Here.

'My Life on the D List' exclusive: 'I don't think it will come back,' says Kathy Griffin

Image Credit: Janet Van Ham/_television/genres/bravo Say it ain’t so, Kathy Griffin! While attending the  Burlesque premiere this week, the comedienne told EW exclusively that she’s not sure  My Life on the D List , the Bravo show that earned her some Emmy love, will return for a seventh season. "I don’t think it will come back, especially not as the same show it was," Griffin said. "I would love to do a hybrid show, like a half-scripted kind of thing or something based on what I built on  My Life on the D List  and what I experience, but not a full-on reality show. I need to maybe give my mom a break so she doesn’t have to drink quite as much boxed wine. I could have someone play my mom because she’s a legend at this point. To Read More  Click Here.

Celebrity Feud Update: Kathy Griffin Is Still Fighting With Elisabeth Hasselbeck (VIDEO)

Kathy Griffin is known for speaking her mind. And she's never gotten along with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the conservative co-host of 'The View.' On her new stand-up special (Tue., 10PM ET on Bravo), the comedian discussed her longtime feud with Elisabeth. She also kept the fight going -- by dishing out a few choice insults. Griffin called Hasselbeck a "moron," "idiot" and "crazy teabagger," plus a few things we can't print here. Their bitter feud dates back to this summer -- and a famously awkward TV appearance. For a long time, Kathy mocked Elisabeth in her comedy act. So when Kathy appeared on 'The View,' the host was peeved, calling Griffin's jokes "not true" and "unfunny." To Read More Click Here.

Kathy Griffin: Still D-List After All These Years

Even with two Emmys, a voice gig in Shrek Forever After and the sixth season of her riotous reality show starting tonight at 9/8c on Bravo, Kathy Griffin insists she's still the redheaded stepchild of the A-list. This is why. She'll pay for praise "I'm thinking of taking out my own Emmy ad in the trades and doing a centerfold...granted, it will be very airbrushed," she promises. Technology shuns her "I'm too D-list to have my own [bleeping] iPhone app," says the woman who once dated Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak. "T-Pain has one!" And so does the Twitterverse "I can't even get into a Twitter war with Spencer Pratt. That's D-list. I have been trying to bait him...'cause you know he's on there all day long. Liz Taylor is in one with [Michael Jackson's dermatologist] Arnie Klein, and I can't even get Spencer." She doesn't even spring for roses Griffin gets to visit her idol Liza Minnelli in Episode 1, but don't expect a BFF-ship to blossom: "Like a schlub, I went to a corner deli and got her some red carnations. You can't even get a florist to put them in a vase!" Source Here

Kendra's TV Hotspots of the Week: True Blood Reactions & Exciting Reality TV Premieres

Welcome to a new week of TV! If you missed any of your SideReel editorial team's columns last week, and/or want to check out our bios and more, visit our editorial team page: ''' Reel Critics .'' Don't forget to check our list of premieres each week like this week's Take A Break From World Cup Excitement To Check Out This Week's Summer Premieres , and keep track of all the upcoming summer premieres on our full Summer Premiere Schedule ! True Blood Premiere Reactions As is often the case with premiere episodes after a dramatic cliffhanger-packed finale, this season premiere of True Blood had to deal with a lot of not-as-dramatic follow-up... but really, when it comes to True Blood, even the "dull" follow-up is downright fantastic, sexy, and still pretty darn dramlicious! While some of the story dragged a little bit, we still had a fully naked Eric, a sexy Sam fantasy about Bill of all people, Bill's badass escape, Tara's (hopefully) almost suicide from Eggs agony, Jason working on getting back to his pre-Christian and pre-Eggs killing self with two girls, and oh yeah - Bill feeding then meeting two seriously scary werewolves! Okay, I take it back - this was a pretty awesome episode! But what did you think? I've seen some mixed reviews today, so tell me if your reaction was that it was all not-so-exciting follow-up or if you thought it was actually great! What I'm Excited for this Week on TV Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List - I guess I lied when I said in This Week in TV 6/13/2010 that Top Chef is my only reality show these days! One of my ultimate light summer favs is definitely Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List which premieres its 6th season Tuesday on Bravo. Some find that Kathy Griffin's celebrity slam humor rubs them the wrong way, but hey, it's all in good fun, and overall, I think she's hilarious! It's also fun to get this actually real (at least far more so than The Hills !) look at celebrity life that isn't all glitz and glamor all the time. She purposefully includes all her embarrassing moments of people and celebrities not knowing who she is (note the show title), and isn't shy to show the rough points in her life too. Overall, it's a pretty real reality show filled with humor, so why not have a little summer fun with Kathy! Top Chef : Washington D.C. - Top Chef is one of my top reasons (besides True Blood ) that I actually look forward to summer TV. This one premieres Wednesday on Bravo at an all new time, 9/8c, so don't miss it if you're a fan used to that 10/9c slot! I'm really looking forward to seeing how the new season plays out in D.C. as just like all cities so far on Top Chef, it has its own flavors and style that I'm sure they'll incorporate into the challenges nicely. But really, I'm just dying to know if they'll get to cook at the White House or if at least Michelle Obama will make an appearance! What are you most excited for this week on TV?
