According to, the 26-year-old actor has been cast as a "hot, young love interest for Rebecca Romijn on Eastwick ." A TV adaptation of the 1987 movie entitled The Witches of Eastwick starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Susan Sarandon, and Cher, Eastwick is a drama series set to air on ABC this fall. Also featured on the show is Paul Gross (Daryl Van Horne), a potential love interest for one or all of the ladies. Kyle XY: Exclusive Interview with Writer/Co-Producer Julie Plec - Featured

I think user *Megs* summed up last night's Kyle XY series finale best by coining it: " one of the most F-ed up series finales I have ever seen ". Why the huge cliffhanger? By the time the Kyle XY producers learned of the show's cancellation, it was too late to film a proper finale. In fact, the show had already finished filming its season! BTW...if you want to throw your anger in another direction, try The Secret Life of The American Teenager . It was this show's huge success combined with deteriorating ratings for Kyle that led to its ultimate doom. At any rate, since any kind of additional resolution is highly unlikely, check out this interview on ABC Family's website with one of the show's writers answering some additional questions about the finale and in what direction the series might have been headed: Some tidbits: Amanda or Jessi? - The "who will Kyle end up with" question is a question we have a hard time answering, because in our opinion a true hero is often destined to end up alone. Had this show run for five more years, Kyle would have likely ended up with neither, knowing that he couldn't fulfill his true destiny as a prophet by living a normal relationship life like everyone else. But in the short-term, we absolutely believed that Kyle and Jessi's relationship would have continued to develop. Cassidy is who? - Cassidy and Kyle share the same genetic mother. Cassidy wasn't lying. No one else is related (as far as I know). The David and Goliath relationship between Cassidy and Kyle would have been a large part of next season. 'Kyle XY' Says Goodbye

Regardless of the legion of messages that welcomed the news of Kyle XY being canceled, ABC Family seems hell-bent on ending the sci-fi series. More than a month after a representative confirmed the cancellation, Kyle XY will indeed wrap up its third season yesterday at 9pm on ABC Family. On the series finale called Bringing Down the House, Kyle (Matt Dallas) gets Cassidy to open up about Latnok's plans for the future of Adam Baylin's experiment. Meanwhile, Kyle learns that the secret society is going ahead with the mass production of more super children like Jessi and himself, with hundreds of pods are ready to grow more babies. Kyle and Jessie are hell-bent on stopping it, enlisting the help of the Trager family, Declan, and Amanda. Will they be able to find the secret test facility in time? Tune in to find out. ABC Family has cited the show's less-than-stellar ratings in the cancellation. Kyle XY reeled in an average of 1.5 million viewers this season, down by more than 1 mil from its 2.6 million average on the first and second run. However, prior to the debut of the network's highly controversial series The Secret Life of The American Teenager , Kyle XY was ABC Family's crown jewel, its highest rated original series for two years, from June 2006 to July 2008. Secret Life averages 2.8 million viewers. Valiant efforts from fans, such as forming petition lists and flooding the ABC Family feedback form, proved futile thus far as there seems to be no hope for ABC Family to change its mind. Kyle XY Series Finale

That was honestly one of the most F-ed up series finales I have ever seen. Especially since it wasn't cancelled in the off season. They knew that it was going to end. They knew that episode 10 would be their last episode ever. So why on earth would they not resolve ANY of the issues? And not only do they not resolve any of the issues...they end a series finale, that they knew was the finale, with a twist. Ending the show finding out that Cassidy is supposedly Kyle's half brother. This is definitely hands down the WORST ending to a series that I have ever seen!

Week of 3/15 - Ten Things We Can't Wait For! - Featured

This week, we can't wait for: The 2 hour Kings premiere! Some will love it and some will hate it, but I'd advise you all to give the first episode of new series Kings, Goliath, a shot. It stars the incomparable Ian McShane and is definitely different from everything else currently on TV. Series finale of Kyle XY ! It isn't so much excitement I feel that this ABC Family series will be prematurely concluding, but I couldn't not include it in a list of the week's highlights. Will the series answer all of the lingering questions? Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill return to The CW ! It has been well over a month and we have been missing our favorite Upper East Siders and Tree Hill residents. Both series finally return this week with new episodes; look for the return of Leighton Meester's real life boyfriend Sebastian Stan (also now appearing in Kings) to reappear on Gossip Girl. Judy Greer on House ! I haven't been watching House regularly this season, but I might just tune in to catch guest star Judy Greer and a premise involving...a magical cat that can predict disease a death. Not a joke. Watch preview Scrubs returns with new episodes! I have to tell you, I can't quite understand what ABC has been doing with Scrubs. They went to all of the trouble to buy it, only to air a bunch of episodes in a clump and then show reruns for weeks. Needless to say, a new episode is finally back this week on a new night...Wednesday! Better Off Ted debuts on ABC! Another day, another new show premiere! Is Better Off Ted going to be ABC's answer to NBC's quirky work comedy duo of The Office and 30 Rock ? Judging by the previews, looks like Ted could be hilarious...or downright terrible. I'm curious to find out, and either way, it's nice to see frequent guest star Jay Harrington ( Private Practice ) get a shot at his own show. Barack Obama on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno ! Yeah, you read right. President Obama will be appearing as a guest on Thursday night's Tonight Show on NBC. This will be the first time ever that a current president has appeared as a guest on a late night program. Premiere of Party Down on Starz! From the creator of Veronica Mars , this is sure to be the show that puts Starz on the map as a provider of original programming. It's a winning premise: struggling actors form a catering company to pay the bills. It also has a winning cast, including guest appearances by multiple Mars alums. Premiere is already on if you can't wait! Episode 6 of Dollhouse ! It's the one we've been waiting for! Joss Whedon swears it. So does series star Eliza Dusku. If you've made it this far and haven't given up on Dollhouse yet, it only gets better from here...! Series finale of Battlestar Galactica ! I can't believe that the time has already come. Let's hope that this one goes out more like Six Feet Under (my personal favorite-ever series finale) than The L Word . What are you most excited for?

Tonight's TV Hot List for Monday, March 16, 2009

* The Secret Life of The American Teenager (8 pm/ET ABC Family) Ever wonder how shy Amy hooked up with playboy Ricky last summer at band camp? As Amy goes into labor, she flashes back to that fateful day she first met Ricky nine months ago and recalls how the charming drummer pursued her and gave her his undivided attention. Meanwhile, Tom does his best to get his sister and Jack back together, and Adrian can't deny that she still has feelings for Ricky. * The Big Bang Theory (8 pm/ET CBS) Penny starts her own hair-product business from home, but she soon realizes that mixing business and friendship is about as successful a combination as the mullet and frequent dating. A caffeine-addled Sheldon gets involved, and Penny can't seem to get him out of her hair...or prevent him from ruining her business. * Kyle XY (9 pm/ET ABC Family) After three seasons, this teen drama meets sci-fi show comes to a close. Ever since he came out of the pod, the boy without a belly button has been searching for answers from the companies involved in creating him. Tonight, Kyle learns some of those answers when he gets Cassidy to reveal Latnok's true plans, which involve mass-producing "super children" like himself and Jessi. Kyle attempts to stop this from happening, and he leans on those closest to him to help in this endeavor. * 24 (9 pm/ET Fox) Jack's on the lam after being framed for killing a witness to the conspiracy when he comes face-to-face with Sen. Blaine Mayer, the man who's been trying to bring him down. Meanwhile, Jon Voight, who this season took on the role of Jonas Hodges, yet another in the pantheon of deliciously wicked villains the series has had over the years, puts an evil plan in motion. * The City (10 pm/ET MTV ) Poor Whit! As the first season of The Hills spin-off wraps up, the breakup with Jay is making her wonder if moving to New York was the right choice after all. And while Lauren Conrad could always rely on Whitney to be the caring coworker/sidekick she needed on The Hills, the villainous Olivia has been anything but. So what's a girl to do? Well, phoning up her old pal LC is a good place to start. Will the reality TV veteran be able to convince the show's star to stay in the Big Apple? It's pretty likely, considering the series has already been renewed for a second season. Source here
