Love & Hip Hop Cast Member Suffers a Major Death in the Family

Cameras and drama aside, it’s time to come together for our girl K. Michelle. The former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and current Love & Hip Hop star just lost an integral member of her family — her godfather. The news came on Sept. 2 when K. Michelle had to cancel an Atlanta performance. “I apologize 2 all my Atlanta Fans. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there. My godfather is in critical condition. Please send your prayers up,” the singer wrote on Instagram. Sadly, that same day K. Michelle... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/YO_IbAnpDQg/2013-09-06-hip-hop-cast-member-suffers

Love and Hip Hop Sneak Peek: The Finale

Season two of Love and Hip Hop has found each of the core cast members at a crossroads in their lives. Being that it's now the finale, hard as it is to believe, it looks like we'll get to see where these ladies will be at going into the next season of the show. Olivia received an offer from EMI last episode, but it still hasn't hit her as the right record deal for her at this point in her life and she'll be declining it. It's weird that after 10 years, she's still got a certain level of naivete about the music industry. Olivia is looking for a certain level of success, considering her refusal to go indie, but to be on a major label, you have to sacrifice a certain amount of creative freedom, especially if you're new/coming off a poorly received project. You can't record anything you want and have a loaded arsenal of A&R execs at your disposal, so Olivia's going to have to decide what's more important: the music or the money? Love and Hip Hop Sneak Peek: Time to Move On?

Last week on Love and Hip Hop , the foolishness level went off the charts with the introduction of Erica, video model turned singer turned reality chick. While she's brought onto the show via Yandy, her big moment occurs with Kimbella, as the two wasted no time before throwing glasses and yanking weave over something vague and innocuous. It was a hot mess in a genre predicated on hot messes, but how would everyone react to the newbie throwdown? In the seven minute sneak peek, it's time for the blowback from the season's biggest fight (pictured) and it looks like neither participant are over it. After being set up yet again by Yandy, Kim is mostly defending her actions, even with Teairra trying to get her to see things clearly. Erica, on the other hand, may have ruined a potential business opportunity with Yandy, putting her temper and ability to "black out" ahead of her pretty face and work ethic. Instead of rallying the troops and getting people on their side, Erica and Kim ended up looking a little silly and extra thirsty after the fight, but my guess is that the tension between the two will linger for the rest of the season. Somaya Reece Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction on 'Love & Hip Hop' (VIDEO)

As a performer, one thing you don't want to have to worry about is your wardrobe. With everything else going through your mind, those clothes just need to stay in place and stay out of the way. Unfortunately, Somaya's pants didn't cooperate as she came out to perform her rap on 'Love & Hip Hop' (Mon., 9PM ET on VH1). Unfortunately, it was at an intimate venue as well, and the pants were cut in such a way that the fact they'd come unbuttoned and unzipped a bit was painfully obvious. And no, despite what anyone might have said, that wasn't supposed to happen. //www.aoltv.com/2011/11/22/somaya-reece-wardrobe-malfunction-love-and-hip-hop-video/
