Jake Smelly is sent by the military to infiltrate a tribe of Na'vi and their sacred tree for the precious mineral stupidnamium. While there, he becomes enriched in the Na'vi's culture, and helps save them from the invading military forces. The Na'vi decide to make him their new king.
