Does Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Need to Be Super to Succeed?

'Agents of SHIELD' 'TRACKS' clip: Coulson and Ward have been made

A first look video of"Marvel's Agents of SHIELD's" Feb. 4 episode "TRACKS" has been released online. In a video posted by TVLine that seems to be episode 13's cold open, Agents Ward and Coulson find their cover onboard a moving train made by Cybertek's agents. The promo for "TRACKS" promises that the episode will have a shocking ending, which could have something to do with the grenade about to be lobbed at Ward and Coulson in this clip. At least there is some levity to the episode as well, as Stan Lee is making a cameo appearance. The official synopsis for "TRACKS" reads: "Hot on the trail of the Clairvoyant, Coulson and his team board a mystery train that seems to be headed for certain death." "Agents of SHIELD" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/agents-of-shield-tracks-clip-coulson-and-ward-have-been-made.html

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC): Would You Want to Work for S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Aside from the annoying acronym S.H.I.E.L.D. is a sketchy organization. Their job is to defend and protect the world from alien attacks, scientific snafus and a large assortment of other things that can go wrong when you’re dealing with otherworldly objects, superpowers and the like. Essentially the organization is presented as a goverment bureaucracy. Like all bureaucracies, there are good people working for S.H.I.E.L.D., but the entity as a whole can be as corrupt as the people they are fighting against. For example, Centipede is heavily involved human experimentation and control. To what aim, we’re not sure yet, but they use humans as guinea pigs, turning them into mindless soldiers. Then we have S.H.I.E.L.D. which is heavily involved in human experimentation and control. The only difference is they’re not upfront about it. They played God with Coulson’s life; putting him through horrific, exploratory surgeries while he was conscience to bring him back from the dead against his will. The truth about Skye was also swept away behind red tape– to protect her or to better utilize her in the future? Furthermore, agents are regarded as dispensable, as we saw in “The Hub.” Add in the subterfuge used to rally The Avengers on the big screen (plus what’s coming up in the next Captain America movie) and you have the makings of an organization that is as morally and ethically as bankrupt as the people they chase. Would you want to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. knowing all that we know? Read More... //www.tvequals.com/2014/01/27/marvels-agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d-abc-would-you-want-to-work-for-s-h-i-e-l-d/

'Agents of SHIELD': Coulson's death and Skye's origin mysteries will get better answers

"Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" has a whole lot of unanswered questions that fans have been puzzling over all season. Even when mysteries like Coulson's death and Skye's parentage are seemingly "resolved," viewers are only left with more questions. When Zap2it chatted with Chloe Bennet and Elizabeth Henstridge at ABC's TCA 2014 winter press tour party, Bennet revealed that most people have been talking to her like Skye's entire storyline was resolved in the Jan. 14 episode when we found out not all that much in "Seeds." "Everyone's like, 'You found out all these answers.' I was like, 'Actually I found that now there's more unknown,'" she says with a laugh. "She knows that there's way more unknown than we even thought. That's what we know now. So yeah, it was an intense scene to shoot but it was a lot of fun." Bennet doesn't even know what the deal is with Skye yet, but she's... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/agents-of-shield-coulsons-death-and-skyes-origin-mysteries-will-get-better-answers.html

'Agents of SHIELD': Chloe Bennet and Elizabeth Henstridge reveal who they're shipping

There's a whole lot of 'shipping going on on "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD," and not a lot of romance actually taking place. Beyond Ward (Brett Dalton) and May (Ming-Na Wen) hooking up and Coulson (Clark Gregg) really loving Lola, there are more sparks flying between characters than ones that are actually being consummated. But while fans ship for Skyeward or FitzSimmons or Mayward, Elizabeth Henstridge and Chloe Bennet have a dream pairing of their own: Skimmons. "As like BFFLs -- as BFFs for life -- obviously Skimmons is at the top of my priority list," Bennet tells Zap2it at ABC's TCA 2014 winter press tour party. After clarifying to Henstridge what "shipping" means, she echoes the same sentiments. "I'm obsessed with Skye and I'm obsessed with Chloe," she says. "Yeah, Skye and Simmons could get together. Why not?" All girl-on-girl friendship obsessions aside, both actresses have some pretty definite feelings about the relationships that could... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/agents-of-shield-chloe-bennet-and-elizabeth-henstridge-reveal-who-theyre-shipping.html

'Agents of SHIELD' episode 13 'TRACKS' plot and Stan Lee cameo revealed

"Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" is going big for its thirteenth episode. The above promo claims that the third act of episode 13 could change the entire series forever, which is a big statement to live up to. The team is heading undercover in "TRACKS," and the episode features the much-touted Stan Lee cameo. He is someone the team meets while on a train pretending to be couples they are not (Simmons as Coulson's pretend daughter? Amazing). The train mission is an attempt to track down the Clairvoyant. According to SpoilerTV, "Coulson and his team will be hot on the trail of the Clairvoyant. The team will be boarding a mystery train that, 'seems to be headed for certain death.'" David Conrad will return in "TRACKS" as villain Ian Quinn, who revealed in episode 12 "Seed" that he is connected to the Clairvoyant. "Agents of SHIELD" returns Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/agents-of-shield-episode-13-tracks-plot-and-stan-lee-cameo-revealed.html
