Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 1 Review “0-8-4?

After enjoying a hugely successful premiere episode last week, both critically and ratings-wise, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD  returned tonight with the promising installment “0-8-4″. As the team made their way to Peru to investigate a mysterious unknown object, they quickly learn that they might have more trouble dealing with each other than in dealing with dangerous alien technology. In a lot of ways, the second episode can be the most important episode of the first season. While the first episode is tasked with introducing us to the team, and explaining the concept of the show, the second episode shows us what a “regular” episode is going to look like. After enjoying big ratings for the premiere installment, it’s very likely that ABC will be ordering a full season of  Agents of SHIELD , which means we’ve got 22 episodes to fill. They can’t all be big important episodes that push the mythology of the show, so we’ll have a lot of episodes like this one that feature a “case of the week”. However, if all of the “case of the week” episodes are this entertaining, I will have no problem with that! 'Agents of SHIELD': More than 22 million people have watched Marvel TV show

"Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" had a strong premiere, and the ratings for the show are only getting stronger. Almost a week after the new TV tie-in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe premiered on ABC, the network announced that 22.1 million viewers have tuned in. The pilot initially brought in 12.1 million when it premiered on Sept. 24. In the days since, 3.7 million watched the show on DVR, 4.7 million watched on "Agents of SHIELD's" repeat on Sept. 26, and then 1.6 million streamed the pilot online. Not too shabby for the show's first week, but it's yet to be determined if those numbers stick. Initially the big draw of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" was the fact that it's tied into the Marvel movies, but that will only keep people watching for so long. Episode 2, "0-8-4," will start to make it clear whether people will continue tuning in for the series, or whether it... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/09/agents-of-shield-more-than-22-million-people-have-watched-marvel-tv-show.html
