I found this show really compelling for the first half, but it came together in a somewhat disappointing/frustrating way for me throughout the second half of the season. It's waaaaay less compelling that it turns out that the parents aren't evil so much as kind of dumb and easily blackmailed/manipulated by a larger evil force. Additionally, 10 episodes in, it's all still a little too vague what exactly the big evil plan is, why this has taken 18ish years to get moving, and why the parents were ok with murdering kids for years - what vague greater good had they been promised that they never bothered to question (when they are all supposed to be pretty smart on their own) when it was so clearly for evil all along - and now suddenly they have a conscience? Now that the parents have revealed they actually want to protect their children (and didn't even murder Amy - so what was the point of that whole mystery), there's much less of a point for the kids to have run away at all. They'd be better off back with their parents.

I don't care I say NO to a Nico and Karolina love story I was looking forward to an Alex and Nico hook up so Nooooooo to this sub-storyline. so the 2 parents who are truly evil is Carolina's parent and Chase's father really? sorry all parents have to be in on it and made a choice for Greed sure fine they truly love the kids u know what there is people and adults out there who should never have kids and do terrible things to their own flesh and blood and to see that explored might be dark but it is something to be explored.. I hope Alex master mind smarts get explored in season 2. So the parents are going to fight Joanah and Victor in season 2 and can we say goodbye to Frank the fool who is about to let himself be sacrificed so Victor can be resurrected.
