On 7 April 1994, Auburn Calloway, a disgruntled employee, attempts to hijack FedEx Flight 705 armed with hammers and a speargun. Despite sustaining serious injuries, the crew successfully subdues Calloway and returns the aircraft safely to Memphis International Airport.
