‘Medaka Box’ English Anime Dub Cast Revealed

Sentai Filmworks is gearing up for the August 27th release of the first season of the series  Medaka Box  and they’ve rolled out the information for how the English language adaptation is going. The series dub is being helmed by Steven Foster, who has done quite a few dubs for them in the last few years, and has a number of familiar names that will please a lot of fans. ‘Medaka Box – Abnormal’ Adds Lengthy Promo

After the Sentai Filmworks  pickup  of  Medaka Box – Abnormal  late last week, interest in the series has grown a bit more and now a new extended length promo has been released for the show. Sentai’s set to release the show on home video sometime late next year and it’s expected that this season of the show will get a Crunchyroll simulcast similar to the first, though it has not been announced as of this writing. Crunchyroll Adds ‘Medaka Box Abnormal’ For Fall 2012 Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll has added another simulcast this week to its growing fall 2012 library and there isn’t a surprise here with  Medaka Box Abnormal . The streaming service will begin the show on October 11th at 11:35pm PT for its premium members while free members will get a look at the show a week later on October 18th. The series follows the first season from earlierthis year which Crunchyroll also simulcast. ‘Medaka Box – Abnormal’ Anime Season Promo Released

With the first season done and over with in the spring, the second season of  Medaka Box , going under the title of  Abnormal , is set to premiere on October 10th. The first full preview for it has landed with nearly a minute long look at the animation and designs for it as it builds on what came in the first. The first season was simulcast by Crunchyroll and licensed by Sentai Filmworks and the second season is expected to follow the same pattern. ‘Medaka Box’ Anime Returns In October For Second Season

While the first season of  Medaka Box  had its issues and most fans of the original manga were pleading with people to stick with it as it’s just the bland stuff before the twist, the second season was formally announced at the end of that season. Now there’s confirmation via the TV Tokyo site  that the series will be returning this fall in October for the second season, making it even more apparent that it was planned for two seasons from the start. Often a show that gets a last minute additional season doesn’t hit until almost a year later, such as  Yuru Yuri . Expect a firm broadcast date in the coming weeks. ‘Medaka Box’ Anime Gets Second Season

With the first season nearing its end in Japan and through its simulcast via Crunchyroll, the second season of  Medaka Box  has officially been given the green light according to the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. The show has been getting good rankings in popularity polls and various English speaking sites have fans ranking it pretty high as well. No details about the next season are revealed as of yet but it’s expected the primary creative staff will come back again to adapt the manga by NisiOisin and Akira Akatsugi as well as the cast. ‘Medaka Box’ Acquired By Sentai Filmworks

Sentai Filmworks has announced that they’ve picked up streaming and home video rights for the spring 2012 anime season series  Medaka Box . The new show being produced by Gainax features series composition and direction by Shouji Saeki and music by Tatsuya Katou . Similar to previous announcements this season, it’s been announced to get digital distribution and unspecified home video plans for the future. Those plans will be determined by how well the streaming does and general interest across multiple platforms. New ‘Medaka Box’ Promo Released

With  Medaka Box  set to premiere on April 4th, TV Tokyo is sliding out their new promo for the show which is a scant 15 seconds but still manages to show off some enticing animation and character designs. Several character promos have been rolled out over the last few weeks to build up anticipation in the series with its adaptation of the manga of the same name and now they’re going for more general quick hits to draw in potential viewers. First ‘Medaka Box’ Anime Character Promo Revealed

Craving a little bounce in your day? Look no further than the first character promo released for the  upcoming   Medaka Box  series that will be airing in April in Japan. ‘Medaka Box’ Anime Cast & Premiere Announced

Announced awhile back but with no firm premiere date, it’s now been revealed via the official site that  Medaka Box  will starts its broadcast run on April 4th as part of the Spring 2012 anime season. The series fits neatly into the box of school based action comedy show based on the manga of the same name by NisiOisin and Akira Akatsuki. The cast has been announced with Emiri Katou playing Hansode Shiranui, Daisuke Namikawa will play Kouki Akune, and Ai Kayano will play Mogana Kikaijima.
