TV ratings: 'The Voice' and 'About a Boy' dip Tuesday while 'Agents of SHIELD' improves

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, March 11, 2014The start of daylight saving time, which usually depresses TV ratings, doesn't seem to be having as big an effect as it has in years past. "The Voice" and "Glee" were both down Tuesday night at 8, but "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" and "The Originals" each improved a bit over last week. Also Tuesday, "The Voice's" slip led to somewhat lower ratings for "About a Boy" and "Growing Up Fisher," although both still put up decent numbers. "Chicago Fire," however, turned in its best 18-49 rating since early January. "New Girl" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" were also down for FOX.Despite airing a full night of repeats, CBS still led the night in total viewers with 9.4 million and a 6.2 rating/10 share in households. NBC (9.2 million, 5.9/10) finished a close second. ABC (4 million, 2.6/4) came in third. FOX's 2.4 million viewers and 1.6/3 beat out The CW's... //

Are those two things connected?Steve Zahn: He doesn't think of it as a disorder at all. He's unmedicated, and he really studied human psychology and behavior and all this, because of his condition, learning how to control it himself by being observant, keeping journals and stuff like that.Zap2it: How does Clark do with controlling it?Steve Zahn: He's able to somewhat control it, but at the same time, he doesn't want to take medication because it stops that flow of creativity. In a way, he thinks of it as an asset. Obviously, personally, there are times when he doesn't think that, but there are some really amazing people -- thinkers -- who have this. We've become a society trying to fix things, [including] some things that didn't need to be fixed.Zap2it: What's it like... //
