'Necessary Roughness' finale: Will Season 4 see Dani and Nico in a real relationship?

"Necessary Roughness" brought its third season to a close Wednesday night (Aug. 21) with the FBI raiding the V3 sports clinic and Connor being made to atone for Hutch's leaving baseball by getting him a second shot at the big leagues (via the KC minors). Will John Stamos be back as Connor in Season 4, to perhaps clean up V3 and help Abigail Bruce run the new agency, now that they've absorbed SBG and named Bruce a new partner and CFO?That remains to be seen. The show hasn't been renewed yet for a fourth season. But here's hoping, especially after Connor seems to have grown in a conscience in the final frames of the finale. In other news, TK made several great choices this episode -- to not dope, to kick Sheera's butt to the curb, and to smile winningly at his beautiful physical therapist India. 'Necessary Roughness': Scott Cohen finds fun in slaps and kisses

Zap2it: What's the state of the relationship between your "Necessary Roughness" character, mysterious problem solver Nico, and sports psychologist Dr. Dani Santino (Callie Thorne)?Scott Cohen: I personally think Nico's very much in love with Dani, [but] he keeps everything close to the vest. So he knows he can't enter into anything that might suggest a romantic interest in her, because that poses more problems for her. He's more concerned about her safety and protection more than anything else. What happens through the course of the season is that you feel he's very much interested in doing something about his desires but prevents himself. So you see lots of tense moments between the two of them that, in the latter half of the season, come to a bubbling explosion.Zap2it: She slapped his face in the season premiere. What was it like shooting that?Scott Cohen: It was fun, actually. Callie was nervous at first, then I was like,... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/08/necessary-roughness-scott-cohen-finds-fun-in-slaps-and-kisses.html
