Exclusive First Look: Maggie Q Previews 'Nikita' Season 2 (VIDEO)

It's been a long summer for loyal 'Nikita' fans, but with less than a month until the second season premieres, our dedicated agents are slowly starting to unearth further intel about what we can expect come Sept. 23. When we caught up with the cast at Comic-Con, Maggie Q., Lyndsy Fonseca and Shane West were able to spare a few hints about Nikita, Alex and Michael's new missions, but now that they've filmed a few more episodes, there's more to tease! The CW has provided us with an exclusive first look at a new Maggie Q. interview that was recently filmed during a promotional shoot, and not only does she talk Nikita's story this season -- including Michael and Nikita "mixing love and work" and dish on new adversaries -- the video also provides a glimpse at some thrilling new footage, with Q. herself promising, "It's gonna be a ride, for sure." Check it out after the jump! //www.aoltv.com/2011/08/29/exclusive-maggie-q-previews-nikita-season-2/

Nikita Season 2 Promo: Everything's Changed

Season 2 of Nikita will be returning in late September and I think we're in for a lot of changes.  Alex and Nikita are now on the outs after the truth about how Alex's parents died came out.  Now they're essentially working at cross-purposes - and maybe even trying to hurt one another?  Meanwhile, Michael has defected from Division after learning the truth about Percy and has decided to team up with Nikita.  Together, the two of them will be on a hunt for Percy's black boxes (with one of them now in their possession) and will be looking to right the wrongs that Division committed. Katheryn Winnick will appear this fall as Nikita's former partner, the woman she left behind years ago when escaping the clutches of Division. But that's merely the second biggest Nikita scoop of the week! The CW has released a new trailer for season two, one that delivers our first actual footage from this fall's new (Friday) episodes. Among the quick scenes depicted below: Percy is angry, Amanda is suspicious, Michael is vengeful... and Nikita and Alex are seriously NOT getting along. //www.tvfanatic.com/2011/08/nikita-season-2-first-footage/

The CW's 'Supernatural,' 'Gossip Girl,' and more get extra episodes -- but not 'The Vampire Diaries'

Good news, CW fans! This season, the network is hoping to shrink those long, arduous, cold, lonely, sad mid-season hiatuses by giving you more of the shows you love. They've picked up extra episodes of several of their returning dramas. "Supernatural" and "Nikita" will have their seasons extended to 23 episodes, while "Gossip Girl" and "90210" will have 24 episodes each."The Vampire Diaries," the network's highest-rated show, will keep its 22-episode order, as it has a more demanding post-production schedule. Additionally, Kevin Williamson, one of its executive producers, is already pulling double duty with the freshman series "The Secret Circle."We're thrilled that the network is further enabling our addiction. We can quit any time we want, okay? Leave us alone.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/08/the-cws-supernatural-gossip-girl-and-more-get-extra-episodes.html

Nikita at Comic-Con: Tons of Season 2 Spoilers & Details

Nikita Comic-Con Panel: Super Rocky Journey Ahead!

Prepare yourself for Nikita vs. Alex, fans. "We’re going to see an Alex and Nikita fight early on [in Season 2], which we really haven’t seen before," creator Craig Silverstein told us today at Comic-Con. The competition will be "very emotionally driven," Silverstein added, teasing a"super rocky" journey that, just like last season, "ends in a place totally different from where it begins."   Will there be any kind of season two theme? Home, Silverstein said. "We’ve talked about the idea that every character is searching for home in their own way. Alex is trying to get back to the home that was due to her. Nikita is trying to find a home that she never had. Percy is trying to get back to home." Among other season two spoilers: Owen will return, "funded by a mysterious source," Silverstein said. We might meet Alex's mother. We'll see flashbacks to the early days of Division. "Percy has been banished to probably the coolest set we’ve built yet," Silverstein said. He'll be "plotting his revenge." As for Amanda? "She’s trying to clean up Percy’s mess. She’s trying to turn Division into a more principled place." Nikita returns on September 23 with an episode titled " Game Change ." //www.tvfanatic.com/2011/07/nikita-comic-con-panel-super-rocky-journey-ahead/

The 'Nikita' Cast Talks Fan Support & Season 2, Plus the Comic-Con First Look

Maggie Q and Shane West want you to know that they're incredibly grateful for their dedicated, faithful 'Nikita' fans. In fact, when we stopped the pair on the CW Upfront red carpet a while back, they had less than a minute to chat before they were ushered away and spent that entire time gushing about their fans getting them the pick-up for Season 2 (premieres Fri., Sept. 23, 8PM ET on The CW). "We're so lucky, aren't we?" Maggie remarked to her costar. "They're so amazing." West agreed. "Yes we are. It's pretty amazing to see that everyday. It's kind of phenomenal what they've created, really." "I don't think they understand how much their support means to us," Maggie continued. "It's just cool to create something and have people connect with it. You want them to, but you never know." //www.aoltv.com/2011/07/23/nikita-season-2-interview-comic-con-first-look/

Nikita leaves Thursday nights this fall and heads to Friday. But, don't worry, fans: the chemistry between the title character and Nikita is not going anywhere. It's also the focus of the following trailer, released today by The CW. Talk about body language and chemistry... //www.tvfanatic.com/2011/07/nikita-season-2-trailer-moving-to-fridays/
