As team Sex On A Sex prepares for the National Quiz Finals, Jo and Mac continue to clash over the kids. Jo wants Noah to convalesce with her. Michelle points out that Jo is being manipulative but Mac doesn’t want to pressure them. Mac has a one-night stand with Paula, but Jo sees her leaving the next day and is not impressed. Mac finds Frank’s determination to be fair on both parents heartbreaking and takes his frustrations out on a client. When Jo takes the kids away for the weekend, he is furious and wants legal shared custody; the gloves are off. Catherine is shocked to find that Jules has bought a gorgeous beach house without consulting her. She also finds the house infested with musicians and a young singer called Shay. Celeste is delighted but the commuting is driving Catherine crazy. She is also jealous that Michelle now seems closer to Mac than her. She decides on a compromise – weekdays in town. Brian is trying to adjust to life as part of a couple, but Michelle doubts that a leopard can change his spots. Brian can’t sleep in the same bed as Emma. He is exhausted and falls asleep on the job. His attractive client wants to have sex but Brian valiantly resists. Emma comes up with her own solution; a bigger bed. The night of the finals arrives and they are surprised to see the ‘Blondeshells’ there. But a bigger surprise awaits when Courtney reveals that she is pregnant; and Brian is the father. Despite this disturbing news, Sex On A Stick place a credible third.
