Nurse Jackie Season Finale Sneak Peeks: O'Hara Goes into Labor

Jackie and Grace have had a pretty contentious relationship during the entirety of Nurse Jackie . While Fi has always been the happy-go-lucky child of any parent's dream, Grace came into puberty like a bat out of hell, her already different personality exacerbated by the joys of hormones. Try as she might, Jackie could never quite figure out a way to placate Grace's growing independent streak without fully bending to her will, so you'd expect them to have a few more years before the divorce became more comfortable for everyone and things got back to normal. Interestingly, it took Jackie getting fired for anything resembling a bond between the two to form. In a sneak peek from the fourth season finale of Nurse Jackie , titled "Handle Your Scandal", Jackie reveals to her daughter that she had a major blowout with her boss and received her walking papers promptly. There had to be a lot of mixed feelings once she got fired; Jackie had been working at the hospital for years and years, it acting as her second home, but Mike firing Eddie and Gloria made it feel less familiar for her. With Cruz become more power hungry and aggressive toward her, her firing may have gotten her out of a potentially hostile work environment and taken a bit of the pressure off of the other nurses.
