WHAT TO EXPECT FROM STARZ'S OUTLANDER

Outlander  officially premieres on Starz this Saturday -- though you can  watch it early online  -- and it's on track to a be a hit for the cable network. The story features action, time travel, romance, adventure, history, one heck of a leading woman and sweeping landscapes. It may sound like a mishmash of genres thrown together in order to catch different demographics, but it's not superficial. The series is based on the popular books by Diana Gabaldon, and each of the elements listed is important to the story.
