Parenthood: Season 4 Premiere Description

On the last season finale of Parenthood , everybody seemed to get their happy ending. Marriage proposals were thrown about, dream colleges became a reality, partnerships between brothers managed to stay strong, new children were brought into the Braverman family - it was a fairly closed book-type conclusion to the story of America's favorite extended family. But on Parenthood , you can't have a little happy without a little sadness. You can't appreciate the personal work and professional triumph without having gone through the down time, the lull in momentum that could make or break any normal individual. 'Parenthood' Season 3 pics: Does Sarah accept Mark's proposal?

As we revealed last month, the "Parenthood" gang will be taking new family photos this season as Haddie preps to leave for college. Now, NBC has released two new gallery shots from the latest Braverman photoshoot. Of course, there's a pic of the newly married Jasmine (Joy Bryant) and Crosby (Dax Shepard), with their son Jabbar (Tyree Brown) -- it's only fitting that they follow up the wedding with an official family shot.Does that mean that the photo of Mark (Jason Ritter) with Sarah (Lauren Graham), Amber (Mae Whitman) and Drew (Miles Heizer) could indicate a wedding in the works? Mark and Sarah hit a rocky patch in their relationship during the season finale, as she worried that she couldn't give him the life he wanted because of their age difference. We were all relieved when he refused to let the breakup happen and instead, proposed to her. With Ray Romano coming in to "complicate" their... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/08/parenthood-season-3-pics-does-sarah-accept-marks-proposal.html

'American Idol's' Paul McDonald joins 'Parenthood' Season 4 as Amber's new love interest

"Parenthood" has snagged several high-profile guest stars going into Season 4, ranging from the kind of weird to the super awesome. This one falls somewhere in between."American Idol" alumnus and Nikki Reed's husband Paul McDonald has been cast in early episodes of this season as Nick, the charismatic lead guitarist of a band who is recording at the Luncheonette. Given that Amber (Mae Whitman) has snagged a job in the recording studio, it's no surprise that she falls hard for him. Unfortunately for Amber, things move a little more quickly than they should, and things get seriously awkward around the office -- which is only exacerbated by the fact that her uncles are her bosses.McDonald, who came in 8th place on his season of "Idol," is making his acting debut in the season premiere on Sept. 11 on NBC. The casting was first reported by TVLine.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/08/american-idols-paul-mcdonald-joins-parenthood-season-4-as-ambers-new-love-interest.html

Parenthood Scoop: Sarah's Love Triangle, Julia's Juggling Act and Amber's Big Romance

Parenthood already has one of the biggest casts on network TV, but it's ensemble just keeps growing. Last season added Adam and Kristina's baby daughter, Nora, and saw the return of Sarah's ex, Mark Cyr ( Jason Ritter ). For Season 4, which premieres on Sept. 11 at 10/9c, the NBC drama has added a few more fresh faces. There's Victor, Julia and Joel's adopted son and, of course, Emmy winner Ray Romano , who will play yet another love interest for the eldest Braverman daughter. "I've been talking to Ray a bunch about his character and he's really excited about doing it," executive producer Jason Katims tells TVGuide.com. "He's a fan." But Sarah's complicated love life — including whether or not she accepted Mark's surprise proposal — is far from the only obstacle the Bravermans will face. Katims filled us in on Romano's "acerbic" new guy, Amber's promising new romance, Julia's tough juggling act and whether there's another new Braverman baby on the way for Crosby ( Dax Shepard ) and Jasmine ( Joy Bryant ). As usual, it sounds like you should have your Kleenex ready....  //www.tvguide.com/News/Parenthood-Season4-Jason-Katims-1049795.aspx?rss=breakingnews

'Parenthood' finale: Lauren Graham dishes on Sarah and Mark's 'bump in the road'

If, like us, you watched the promo clip for this week's "Parenthood" through a teary blur after the most recent episode left you tangled in a confusing knot of joy and devastation, you may have missed the fact that Sarah (Lauren Graham) and Mark (Jason Ritter) are headed for some difficult times. You can watch it below if you want your heart ripped out one more time.It shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, given the fact that Ritter will be starring in his own NBC pilot this year, developed for him by "Parenthood" executive producer Jason Katims. Still, we can't help but wish we could clone him so that he can do that other medical drama and stay on "Parenthood" to have a baby with Sarah and have emotional talks with Drew (Miles Heizer) and, fine, maybe eventually move to New York in the very, very distant future.Zap2it visited the "Parenthood" set and... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/02/parenthood-finale-lauren-graham-dishes-on-sarah-and-marks-bump-in-the-road.html
