I love Amy Poehler and I love Chris Pratt... so why is it so hard for me to get through a half hour episode of this show without falling asleep? This show is just not funny to me at all. It has been on my watch list since I created my watchlist. I tried to watch it when it was on Netflix and only made it through the first episode.

Now, several years later, here I am in 2019 watching it on Prime and I've only made a dent in season two (thank God season one only had six episodes) . The cast is filled with talent and comedians, yet I haven't laughed. How did this make it seven seasons? Where is the turning point where it becomes funny? I recall not liking Breaking Bad until the third episode and then that show became the reason I looked forward to Sunday night, but I've watched a full ten episodes of this and no spark... I can't recommend it as a comedy if it doesn't make me laugh, but if you are a fan of the actors and want to see them, well here you go.

EDIT: My first laugh came finally happened with Season 2 Episode 7 and it was because of Meghan Mullally's character's GUEST role. She was hilarious and I thought it was a fluke but watched the next episode and it was funny, then watched the next and I laughed again. I've increased by half a star and will increase if it continues but my goodness, 13 episodes just to get to a laugh? Shame... so if you're watching this as a newbie wondering how it was rated so highly, just know that the humour gets better mid-season 2.
