'Partners' David Krumholtz's first crush: 'We are now friends on Facebook'

Zap2it: How do you describe your "Partners" character?David Krumholtz: Joe is loosely based on (co-creator) Dan Kohan. He's (the) more pragmatic, more sensible neurotic guy. He can bear and has borne the burden of Louis' form of drama. At times it gets to be a bit much.Zap2it: How long do these two go back?David Krumholtz: They were friends since single digits, 8 or 9, when they both started developing crushes.Zap2it: Who was your crush then?David Krumholtz: Esther Gorman. I had my grandmother bring her a box of chocolates on Valentine's Day. I was 8 years old and rejected. She rejected me 10 times, until I was 15. We are now friends on Facebook.Zap2it: Your bio mentions that your mom left Hungary in 1956. Was it during the Revolution, and has she returned?David Krumholtz: Yes, and my whole thing is to get her back. She never had the time, money or opportunity and hasn't been there... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/10/partners-david-krumholtzs-first-crush-we-are-now-friends-on-facebook.html

It seemed to be a battle of wits way outside Wyatt's weight class. We sat down with Routh and costar Sophia Bush this summer, and we asked him about whether he was concerned that Wyatt's "stupid pretty guy" shtick would wear off for the audience -- or potentially become tiresome to him as an actor. Routh explained that, for the purposes of the pilot, which focuses heavily on Louis' relationship with Joe (David Krumholtz), Wyatt may have been oversimplified. In fact, he has a... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/10/partners-brandon-routh-wyatt-is-the-shepherd-of-louiss-emotions.html
