While journeying to Icirrus City, Ash and Iris are having a battle between Swadloon and Emolga. Just when it looks like Emolga has won, Swadloon evolves into Leavanny! The battle ends however, as Leavanny begins making leaf clothes for all the Pokémon, including a superhero-esque outfit for Axew. Later that day, everyone is taking a nap. A couple of Durant come by and steal the leave clothes and thinking Axew is a leave, take him as well. Once everyone wakes up and discovers what has happened, they track down the Durant's nest and head inside to get Axew back.
