During the middle of the night in a forest near Undella Town, a wild Dragonite and wild Hydreigon battle in the skies. Hydreigon injures Dragonite, allowing it to escape. The injured Dragonite tries to fly away, but ends up crashing into a power plant. When the security at the plant confront it, it begins to attack and heads farther into the facility. The power going out attracts the attention of Ash and his friends and upon learning what has happened, Iris is determined to find Dragonite and prove to the police that Dragonite is a kind Pokémon. Meanwhile, Officer Jenny is creating a special task force to drive Dragonite out of the power plant.
