Ash and Cameron's quarter-final battle gets off to a dramatic start with Cameron beginning the battle with his secret weapon: Hydreigon! Despite Ash's strategies, Hydreigon quickly puts Ash at a disadvantage by defeating two of his Pokémon fairly quickly. However, with his trusty Pignite, Ash manages to defeat the Brutal Pokémon. Despite this setback, Cameron manages to keep Ash on edge throughout the battle. As the battle nears its end, Cameron puts all his faith in Riolu to get him to the next round.
