Satoshi, Serena, Citron, and Eureka make it to Professor Platane's Pokémon Summer Camp, where they meet Sana, Trova, and Tierno, who have received Fushigidane, Hitokage, and Zenigame from Professor Platane for their first Pokémon, and want to test their skills against Satoshi and his friends.
