Pretty Little Liars "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" Review: If You Don't See a Body...

"Out of Sight, Out of Mind" tried my patience on more than one occasion, but the game is set up for what should be a more rewarding end to the season. Read More... //www.tv.com/news/pretty-little-liars-out-of-sight-out-of-mind-review-if-you-dont-see-a-body--136198579882/

'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: 'Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind'

Let's dispatch with the pleasantries and get this over with: Is Toby dead or is this all a ruse perpetrated by the A Team? By the end of last night's " Pretty Little Liars " episode, "Out of Sight, Out of Mind," Spencer had followed Mona into the woods, where she uncovered what appeared to be Toby's body, with the tell-tale "901 Free At Last" tattoo in full view. Yet, Spencer didn't remove the motorcyclist's helmet, meaning we can't be absolutely certain it was Toby. Also, did she check for a pulse? The finer points of the investigatory sciences didn't seem to matter much to Spencer, as she suffered a complete breakdown, wandering in the wilderness for hours until a hiker alerted the authorities, who retrieved her and sent her directly to Radley (which seemed a little too "American Horror Story: Asylum" for my taste). Pretty Little Liars Review: Off the Deep End

After a few weeks of so-so episodes ( last week 's being the most frustrating), I anticipated some real action this week. Especially with all the great promos. " Out of Sight, Out of Mind " delivered the action, but it also brought the crazy. I mean certifiably crazy. The increase in intensity and drama, which will hopefully propel the story forward, was very much appreciated after wading through one tepid episode after another. However, wasn't this a bit much? Will we look back later on and think of this episode as the one that "jumped the shark"? Spencer's decision to finally open up about the Toby problem was way overdue, and I was surprised they weren't more upset about it. Instead, they were sympathetic to her situation because it is pretty awful to find out that the person you loved most was just faking it to mask his blinding hatred for you and your closet friends. And how does Spencer respond to their delicate treatment? No surprise here; she continues being awful. Naturally, Emily has some trouble accepting that her once close friend could be A. Of course, Spencer has been there and done that; yet, she has no tolerance for Emily's false hope, even laughing in her face. Perhaps she was even speaking directly to Spoby fans when she said, "You need to stop thinking about Toby as the person that you thought you knew and start looking at him for who he really is." But Emily has a good heart and needs to hear this from Toby directly. Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2013/02/pretty-little-liars-review-off-the-deep-end/

Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Review “Out of Sight, Out of Mind”

On the latest episode of  "Pretty Little Liars,"  appropriately-titled  "Out of Sight, Out of Mind,"  Spencer at long last told the girls about the Toby situation, or at least Emily and Aria, as Hanna was off dealing with the ramifications of last episode’s Wilden escapade. She let the girls know that she thought Toby was himself was  "A"  but Em in particular wasn’t convinced. She reminded Spencer of the fact that Lucas was blackmailed into being on the  "A"-Team  and thus, Toby might have been as well, but Spencer is convinced otherwise, and won’t accept any ideas to the contrary.
