Reaper's Back Early, 90210 Moves Later, and More From the CW

The CW revised its midseason schedule just a bit today, bringing Reaper back early while putting it directly in the path of American Idol . Meanwhile, Privileged has a finale date. The big stuff: * Reaper will be back a couple of weeks earlier than originally planned, with a new premiere date of March 3. It's also switching times, moving to 8 p.m., which is noteworthy because it will put it directly up against That Which Cannot Be Defeated, American Idol. * The other part of that announcement is that 90210 will move to 9 p.m. starting March 3. It makes more sense there, I think. That also means it will be protected from Idol, which might give it a better chance at good ratings and renewal for next season. * Meanwhile, the finale of Privileged will air Feb. 24. That seems so soon! * All 13 episodes of Reaper will air in a row, ending May 26. * 90210 will basically take the month of March off. It'll be in repeats starting Feb. 17, but it will be back March 31 with eight new episodes in a row. The first-season finale is set for May 19. What do you all make of the moves? Is there more good news or bad news for Reaper? And can you believe we only have a few weeks left of Privileged? Source here

Ashley Newbrough on Living the Privileged Life

As Sage Baker on the CW's Privileged , Ashley Newbrough plays a snarky ice queen with a good heart buried somewhere deep inside. On tonight's episode, titled "All About Confessions," many of the characters reveal something major they've been hiding - and Sage's secret is one of the biggest of all. Earlier this week, Newbrough hopped on the phone with some reporters to chat about playing Sage, working on Privileged, and getting comfortable with her TV twin. Here are highlights: * On Sage's big confession: "Sage reveals this secret, the secret that will explain why she's so guarded, and it's a pretty heavy deal, it's something she's been carrying her entire life - well, since she was 6, since her parents died. She's been carrying this secret for so long, and it's the first time she lets it off her shoulders and says it out loud, really. And I think it's good because it lets the audience in on her darkest secret, so it kind of shows you what really damaged her. You get to see the softer side of Sage. She's very, very vulnerable, which is something that never happens." * On how having a love interest has changed Sage: "It's forced her to sort of be a little bit more sensitive and sort of watch what she says a little bit more . . . especially when it's Luis, because he doesn't put up with her crap, and he doesn't back down from any of her mean remarks or anything like that. It's definitely made her reevaluate what she says and how she treats people. . . Just kind of dealing with the feelings of having a crush on someone has just made her grow up a little bit and accept the fact that she's going to let him in and be a little bit vulnerable with him, which are all things that she's never experienced before, because as she says, she's never liked someone this much." * On what attracted her to playing Sage: "I felt like you could tell she was damaged, and underneath all that ice and meanness she was a good person somewhere. Being only 16 and having lost her parents when she was 6, I think that all forced her to grow up really fast and sort of made her different than all the other regular mean girls on television shows or in life, because I think she has all these reasons for why she is so mean and guarded and why she hates letting people in so much. . . I also liked how she was so protective of her sister. She can be mean to everyone in the world but as long as Rose is happy, she didn't care." To Read More Click Here .

'Privileged' Actress Lucy Hale Has Auditioned for Jane of 'New Moon'

While Dakota Fanning has been offered to play Jane in "New Moon", television star Lucy Hale revealed that she too has done some reading for the part. The " Privileged " actress broke out the news to Twist Magazine in a phone interview, saying "Well, I did read [for the role of Jane]." "We had some talks about it," the 19-year-old explained, hinting further that she doesn't mind if Dakota Fanning ends up with the role. "But I think they just offered it to Dakota Fanning, the role I was interested in. Which is great - I'm a huge fan of her! So, I think she'll probably take that. And I mean, as of right now, I'm not sure if it's going to work out. But I'm definitely still going to see it!" Asked about other part she may consider starring as, the Effie Kaligaris of "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" spilled, "Leah Clearwater, but I think there's already talks with somebody else. I think they've already offered it to someone. I mean, we'll see. If not, it's all good." When the publication pointed out that Vanessa Hudgens is the one linked to the role, she responded, "Right, Right, right! Yeah, I wasn't sure if that was true or not, but she'd be great for it!" Meanwhile on the rumor that Dakota Fanning has been offered the Jane part, the 14-year-old child star has confirmed that she is indeed in talks to play the member of the deadly Volturi vampire clan. "I really hope it works out," Fanning told E! Online while promoting "Push" on January 24. "It would be so much fun. I think that the actors are amazing. It would be really cool to be a part of that. I'm a big fan." "New Moon" is an adaptation to Stephenie Meyer's second novel of her "Twilight" series. While " Twilight " screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is set to pen the script, Chris Weitz has been tapped to direct this "Twilight" sequel. The Summit Entertainment movie is reported to start production in Vancouver in mid-March for November 20, 2009 release with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner among several original cast members set to reprise their roles. Pete Wentz Appears on Privileged

Taking a brief hiatus from talking about choking chicken, drinking breast milk, and doing his wife in various positions, Pete Wentz appeared on Privileged last night. The CW drama has certainly has embraced stunt casting in its freshman season, with Wentz joining the likes of Perez Hilton and Lauren Conrad as guest stars. The Fall Out Boy bass player is everywhere these days, and unfortunate as that is, it makes it hard to avoid covering him on a celeb gossip site. So here goes: We're not claiming to have any Privileged spoilers for you, but we doubt Pete will be the last celebrity to make an appearance. Here's hoping for Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo next - or one of those krazy Kardashians would work too. Source here

Exclusive: Jungle Boy Toy Has "Write Stuff" for Privileged

A loss for the audience of one unsung series is another's gain. Robert Buckley, who immediately made waves on NBC's Lipstick Jungle as Kirby, Kim Raver's strapping young boy on the side, is joining the cast of Privileged , has learned exclusively. "Clearly, I can't get enough cute guys on this show!" Privileged creator Rina Mimoun quipped while sharing the news with us. Buckley will appear in the final two episodes of the CW series' 18-episode freshman season, playing the editor-in-chief of a magazine where both Megan and Will hope to be working. Considering the upcoming departure of Michael Cassidy's Charlie, it's safe to venture that this studly scribe will have the "write stuff" to complicate Megan's romance with the boy next door. Lipstick Jungle will air the last of its 13 sophomore season episodes on Jan. 9. Though a back-nine order has yet to be granted to the prime-time sudser, the talk is that should the show wrap up this run with a ratings bang, there could be hope for the future. This week, Jungle delivered 4.23 million total viewers, its best audience since moving to Fridays in late October. Source: TV Guide
