'Psych' Season 8 premiere 'S.E.I.Z.E. the Day': A bombshell rocks one character's world

We've seen the "Psych" Season 8 premiere, fans, and are you in for a treat -- there's a major bombshell, Harris Trout (Anthony Michael Hall) is wreaking havoc on Santa Barbara's finest and Shawn and Gus are at their hilarious best. Read on for a few spoilers from "S.E.I.Z.E. the Day."The episode title refers to a new career Shawn and Gus are embarking on, now that the SBPD no longer hires psychics. 'Psych' Season 8: Harry Potter and the remake episode revealed

We've got some "Psych" Season 8 scoop for you, "Psych"-Os -- the first three episode titles and some details, including which episode the show is going to remake. The Season 8 premiere is called "S.E.I.Z.E. the Day" and while we don't have much information on it so far, look for a preview article later today here at Zap2it.Meanwhile, Episode 2 is called "Lock, Stock, Some Smoking Barrels and Burton Guster's Goblet of Fire" and features ... wait for it ... Gus going to a Harry Potter convention in London. Outstanding. What house do you think Gus is in? 'Psych: The Musical' first look video: 'Jamaican Inspector' Psych-out with Gus

We have a real treat for you, "Psych" fans -- a first look at the Psych-out from the musical episode. It's star Dule Hill singing "Jamaican Inspector" and it's awesome. In the course of the episode, there's a musical about Jack the Ripper, and Gus thinks he should play a Jamaican police inspector hot on the trail of the famous British serial killer. Because of course he does. The song features such gems as "Don't worry, all is well, you English jezebels. Help is on the way" and "Me not like this nonsense me hearin', people slashed from necklace to earrin', Ripper leave them prostitutes alone!"It's amazing. 'Psych: The Musical' was 'a Herculean task,' says James Roday

The musical event of the television season is almost upon us, "Psych"-Os. Stars Dule Hill and James Roday and creator Steve Franks spoke with the press Tuesday (Dec. 10) about what went into making such a big episode, which Roday says was nothing short of Herculean."After all the work that [Franks] did to get us there, there was no way we weren't gonna step up to deliver the goods," says Roday. "He wrote the whole thing, he conceived it, he composed it with Adam Cohen, he directed it. USA sets 'Psych' Season 8 premiere, moves 'Suits' back to Thursdays

It's a big news day for fans of USA's original programming.On Monday (Dec. 9), the network revealed the January premiere dates for Season 8 of "Psych" and the second half of Season 5 of "White Collar," while also announcing when "Suits" and new comedy "Sirens" will air."Psych" returns with 10 episodes on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 9 p.m ET, while "White Collar" pops up a night later on Jan. 9 at 9 p.m. ET for its four-episode run. Two months later, "Suits" makes the move back to Thursdays, premiering the second half of Season 3 on March 6 at 9 p.m. The critically-acclaimed legal drama will be followed by the series premiere of new half-hour comedy "Siren," from creators Denis Leary and Bob Fisher, at 10 p.m."Sirens" follows the antics of three Chicago EMTS, described as "a group of unruly men when it comes to their personal lives [who] are the best in the business... //
