it was time to embrace the chaos on  Red Band Society Season 1 Episode 6  as relationships changed and pride set the stage. I did wish they would have had a little more fun with the Pride and Prejudice theme from the kids' class project but pride was the thread that ran through many of the stories; particularly Dr. McAndrews and Nurse Jackson. Was it Nurse Jackson's ego that pushed her to swap Charlie's lab work or desperation to keep him in the hospital and give him a fighting chance to see that specialist? I believe she was desperate and took a huge risk with her career to give the kid a chance at recovery. Red Band Society Season 1 Review “Ergo Ego”

A fundamental problem with  Red Band Society  became apparent with Jordi’s gesture of ripping his red band off this week. The way the show saw it, this was a symbol of the group of kids breaking up, it was Rachel leaving the glee club to be in the school musical, but to the audience, it was a meaningless action in response to one single betrayal. Sure, he should be hurt that the girl he likes has chosen to be with someone else, but there’s no connection between these characters to break. There are individual bonds, and some of them are great, but there is no cohesion.
