Rick and Morty’s Evil Morty Theme Gets Classical Guitar Cover

It boggles the mind why Rick and Morty’s evil Morty theme would get a classical guitar cover. In fact boggles my mind that the show is still on the air. But enough people like it that it’s managed to stick around for this long, and obviously this guitarist likes it well enough that he decided to dress up as evil Morty to pay some sort of respect to the show. Some days it’s a bit hard to write about it since there are so many negative things that I’ve heard about the show as well as positive. People are going to like what they want to like and that’s about all that needs to be said. It’s not right or wrong, it’s a matter of personal choice. I’ll be honest and say that no, I don’t like the show because I happen to think it’s one of the strangest and most offensive things I’ve ever seen. But that’s my opinion, it’s not supposed to matter as to whether people watch the show or not. If a person happens to like the show then by all means they should watch it. Rick and Morty Creator Dan Harmon Tells Us Whether Evil Morty Was Inspired by Trump

Rick and Morty brought back Evil Morty in a recent episode, leading some fans to wonder whether the installment of the Adult Swim series was inspired by Donald Trumps recent presidential run. The seventh episode of Season 3, entitled The Ricklantis Mixup, featured the villainous iteration of one of the title characters, who waged a surprisingly successful political campaign within the Citadel. Given that the power-obsessed Evil Morty delivered debate speeches that appealed to the working class, was Trump on the writers minds while they were creating the episode?   ...Read More... //

Rick and Morty Creator Prank-Calls Joel Osteens Church About Dirty Storm Victims (Video)

If youve ever wondered what would happen if one of the Rick and Morty characters placed a call to Joel Osteens prayer line, wonder no longer. Justin Roiland, co-creator of the Adult Swim animated series, made an appearance on the H3 podcast this week to raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey. During the podcast episode, Roiland called the televangelists hotline, using the voice of Rick, the soused time-traveler character from Rick and Morty. This follows Osteens Houston-based Lakewood Church getting hit with criticism last week for not initially opening its doors to those displaced by the storms.   ...Read More... //
