Ringer Exclusive: Kris Polaha on The Episode That Will Change It All

Following the stunning conclusion to last week's episode of Ringer , I had a simple request of star Kris Polaha: give fans a preview of tonight's fallout. "People can expect to see something shocking," he told me earlier today. "It will be completely out of left field and it will change the course of Henry's life forever and, consequently, the life of the show forever." Well... okay then. Safe to say I'll be tuning in for " A Whole New Kind Of Bitch ." Overall, Polaha says he has come "full circle" with this part on Ringer because Sarah Michelle Gellar is actually the first professional actress he ever auditioned for. While at NYU, Polaha appeared in a play that garnered national attention. RINGER  "A Whole New Kind Of Bitch" Episode 5 airs Tuesday October 11 at 9/8c on the CW. Episode Synopsis : DECISIONS, DECISIONS – Gemma (Tara Summers) asks Bridget (Sarah Michelle Gellar), who is still posing as Siobhan, to do her a favor that could cost Bridget everything. Henry (Kristoffer Polaha) is given some crushing news about his writing career, and Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd) has to deal with his tumultuous relationship with  his teenage daughter Juliet (Zoey Deutch). Bridget meets a potential new sponsor named Charlie (guest star Billy Miller) at a local NarcoticsAnonymous  meeting, while Malcolm (Mike Colter) must face his demons when he is put in a position that could jeopardize his sobriety. The CW yanks 'H8r' for 'Ringer' repeats

The CW confirmed on Thursday (October 6) that "H8r" will no longer be airing on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. In its place, The CW will air repeats of the Sarah Michelle Gellar drama "Ringer." //

TV ratings: 'NCIS,' 'New Girl' solid Tuesday, 'Unforgettable' and 'Parenthood' dip

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011"NCIS" retained its crown as far and away Tuesday's most-watched show, and "New Girl" continued its strong early-season run among adults 18-49 (although it declined some in viewers). CBS' other two shows, however, fell a little Tuesday night, and both "90210" and "Ringer" were down for The CW as well. So were NBC's "The Biggest Loser" and "Parenthood."CBS led the night overall with a shade under 15 million viewers and a 9.4 rating/15 share in households. ABC (11.4 million, 7.6/12) came in second. FOX (7.9 million, 4.6/7) finished third, a good distance ahead of NBC's 5.4 million viewers and 3.5/5. The CW (1.4 million, 1.0/1) trailed.FOX once again scored the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 3.6 rating, holding off CBS' 3.3. ABC drew a 2.2, even with last week's performance, topping NBC's 2.0. The CW managed only a 0.6.... //
