  The Robot Chicken gang is taking another crack at the DC Comics universe and it's going to be Doom's day. The hapless cadre of criminals known as the Legion of Doom steal the spotlight (and the laughs) in Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 2: Villains in Paradise , the follow-up to the 2012 collaboration between Adult Swim's irreverent stop-motion animation parody series and the comic-book giant (premiering Sunday, April 6 at 11:30 p.m./10:30c on Cartoon Network.)       //

'Robot Chicken' Season 7: George R.R. Martin appearing in 'Game of Thrones' parody

If you're a "Game of Thrones" fan, the new season of "Robot Chicken" is appealing directly to you. During a press event for "DC Comics Special II: Villains in Paradise," executive producers John Harvatine and Eric Towner, as well as writer-director Kevin Shinick, spoke to Zap2it about the upcoming Season 7 treat."We've got George R.R. Martin playing himself," Towner says. "He came to the studio and recorded himself, so there's some 'Game of Thrones' stuff. That's pretty exciting."Martin isn't the only notable celebrity appearing, though. Shinick goes on to share, "We've got a 'Les Miserables' parody that's got Zachary Levi." ‘Robot Chicken’ Second DC Comics Special and Season 7 Announced by Adult Swim [+Photos]

Robot Chicken  is kicking off their seventh season a week early with  Robot Chicken DC Comics Special II: Villains in Paradise , the stop-motion comedy’s second send up of DC Comics’ heroes and villains. The special premieres Sunday, April 6th at 11:30 p.m., with season seven premiering a week later on Sunday, April 13th. The new DC Comics special will feature voice work from Seth Green as Batman and Robin, Zac Efron as Superboy, Alfred Molina as Lex Luthor, Sarah Hyland as Lex Luthor’s daughter Lena, Nathan Fillion as the Green Lantern, Alex Borstein as Wonder Woman, Clancy Brown as Gorilla Grodd, Giovanni Ribisi as the Joker, Tara Strong as Harley Quinn, Breckin Meyer as Superman, plus Hugh Davidson, Matthew Senreich, Clare Grant, Zeb Wells, and Kevin Shinick as the narrator.
