Hulu Adds Original ‘Rozen Maiden’ Anime Series For Streaming

Rozen Maiden  has become the latest series to get new distribution this year on Hulu as the Sentai Filmworks property has now shown up there as well. The addition of the franchise means that they’ve got the two original runs,  Rozen Maiden  and  Rozen Maiden: Traumend as well as the  Rozen Maiden: Ouverture  release. All the episodes, which are currently available on bilingual DVD release but done subtitled-only here on Hulu, can be streamed to non-computer devices for those that use the Hulu Plus program which lets it get sent directly to TVs, Apple TVs, Tivo’s and phones and tablets. First ‘Rozen Maiden’ Anime Series Getting Crunchyroll Digital Distribution

While Crunchyroll has been toiling away at the new iteration of  Rozen Maiden  with  Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen , which is its own property, the company is working with Sentai Filmworks to bring more of the show to its audience. Streaming soon from Crunchyroll will be the two seasons that aired last decade with  Rozen Maiden  and  Rozen Maiden: Traument . It’s not clear if the  Rozen Maiden: Ouverture  OVAs will be included in this at the time. The two seasons were originally released by Geneon Entertainment back after they first debuted in Japan and were picked up in the last couple of years by Sentai Filmworks who picked up the OVA that had not been previously licensed. Pony Canyon Sets Japanese ‘Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen’ Anime DVD/BD Release Schedule

Pony Canyon is working through their summer series shows with distribution plans and the latest one to get some exposure is  Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen . The new series, which has been licensed in North America by Sentai Filmworks, will be getting a seven volume DVD and Blu-ray release starting on August 30th, 2013. The first volumes are cheaper since there’s only one episode to it, and come in on DVD and Blu-ray at 3150 yen and 3675 yen respectively. The subsequent six volumes will arrive at 5565 yen and 6615 yen respectively for formats as well. Sentai Filmworks Acquires ‘Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen’ Anime Home Video Rights

Crunchyroll Adds ‘Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen’ For Summer 2013 Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll has another new simulcast acquisition on tap, one that starts pretty soon compared to some of the other ones, with  Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen . The series is set to premiere on Thursday, July 4th, at 10:00pm PT for premium members and free members set to view it a week later.  Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen  will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: USA, Canada, South Africa, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. Second ‘Rozen Maiden’ Anime Promo Released

Anticipation is definitely there as we’re just over a week away from the July 5th premiere of the Studio Deen adaptation of the  Rozen Maiden  manga by Peach-Pit. The latest promotional video for the show has surfaced and it’s been some time between them as the first one came out back at the end of April. ‘Rozen Maiden’ Opening Song Gets ALI PROJECT Promo

The upcoming series for  Rozen Maiden  has garnered a lot of attention in bringing back a show that’s been away for quite a few years and it’s getting a bit more of a boost thanks to ALI PROJECT. With the TV series about to begin, the single and opening song from the show is getting its own promotional video to showcase the July 24th release of the song. New ‘Rozen Maiden’ Anime Images Surface

Set for broadcast this summer, the first promotional video for the new  Rozen Maiden  series has debuted. The series will be directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama, the script for the series is being supervised by Tomomi Mochizuki while Kyuta Sakai of  Steins;Gate  fame will handle the character designs. ‘Rozen Maiden’ Summer Anime Series Cast & Crew Revealed

It continues to be revival time and the new incarnation of  Rozen Maiden  that’s due out in Japan this summer has gotten a bit of additional information. The series is set to be animated by Studio Deen (the previous series was handled by Nomad) and it’ll be directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama. Hatakeyama has done episode directing under Shinichi Omata in several series, but has also worked on a lot of hentai series as a producer. Under the name Hatakeyama, he recently directed  Sankarea  but has also been involved in  Arakawa Under the Bridge  and  Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl . The script or the series is being supervised by Tomomi Mochizuki while Kyuta Sakai of  Steins;Gate  fame will handle the character designs.
