Add another acquisition for Madman Entertainment today as the Australian distributor continues their twelve days of announcements. The latest addition to their catalog is that of  Samurai Flamenco , which will be released some time in 2014. With it being so early – and the series airing for another season still – there are no details on formats, release dates, pricing or whether it will have a dub or not yet. ‘Samurai Flamenco’ Anime Begins HD Hulu Run

Hulu has added another of the fall simulcast series to its run, albeit one that’s a few weeks behind, as  Samurai Flamenco  has added its first episode to the service. The show is getting the usual run of a new episode per week until it’s done but it’s also getting a Hulu Plus angle as well that not only allows it to be viewed on a Hulu Plus connected TV or device, but it will do so in HD, something that few shows generally do from the anime side of things. Anime Limited Gains ‘Samurai Flamenco’ UK Anime Rights

Anime Limited has added another series as they continue to grow and become a bigger part of the UK distribution scene with the acquisition of  Samurai Flamenco . The fall anime series is part of the noitaminA block in Japan and has been getting its streaming on in the UK as part of the new wakanim.tv service that expanded this season to add more competition to the marketplace. No details on the acquisition and how things will roll from there as it’ll be awhile before the two season show finds its way into distribution outside of Japan for physical media formats. Aniplex Japan Sets ‘Samurai Flamenco’ Anime DVD/BD Releases

Aniplex Japan is taking a bit more of a restrained approach to the solicitations for  Samurai Flamenco as they’ve only announced the first volume so far for the series. The show is set to debut its first volume on December 25th and it’ll come in three flavors. The Blu-ray will be priced at 7140yen while the DVD will get a limited edition at 63090yen and a regular edition at 5040yen. The first volume will have the first two episodes of the series and will come with the first Hero Song CD, a full color booklet and other potential first press items such as an illustration calendar card, a logo sticker and a reflector. Crunchyroll Adds ‘Samurai Flamenco’ For Fall 2013 Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll has hit up with news of a series that we knew was coming and where it was coming to with some additional confirmations.  Samurai Flamenco is set for simulcast on the service with a premiere date of October 10th at 1:30pm ET for premium users and a week later for free users.
