“The Hunt for Nazi Scientists” retraces Allied efforts to track down German rockets, planes and atomic secrets in the waning days of World War II. As recalled by historians, and U.S., British and German veterans, the competition between the U.S. and the USSR was intense. Both sides gained technology from the Nazis, but the biggest prize was Wernher Von Braun, designer of the world's first ballistic missile (the V2), who was instrumental in NASA's lunar program.
