The August 2004 discovery of headless Roman skeletons in a mass grave in York, England, is examined, as archaeologists try to determine who the victims were and why they were killed. Forensic clues lead investigators to suspect that Roman emperor Caracalla may have been responsible and that the victims may have been caught up in a blood feud between Caracalla and his brother, Geta.
