'Supernatural' time travels, Sam keeps up with Justin Timberlake's style choices

We've been looking forward to this week's episode of "Supernatural" for a while now. Not only does it include time travel, which is always compelling, but we've also got two major guest stars coming in. "Veronica Mars" favorite Jason Dohring plays the God of Time (and it's about time he play a god) while "X-Files" star Nicholas Lea plays the famous G-man Eliot Ness. We'll have to wait a couple more days for a sneak peek at their performances, though, because The CW's webclip of the episode this week features Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) grilling a rather unreliable witness. By unreliable, we meant stoned. In case you were wondering. We're pretty sure that our favorite part of this entire clip is that Sam knows Justin Timberlake's hat preferences. It's such a relief that in between all the grave-digging and crying at rest stops and drawing salt circles, the boys have time to catch up... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/01/supernatural-time-travels-sam-keeps-up-with-justin-timberlakes-style-choices.html

Supernatural Sneak Peek: Crossing the God of Time in Episode 7.12

Last week's episode of Supernatural confirmed - once and for all - that Bobby is well and truly dead.  After returning to Rufus' cabin to regroup and grieve, the boys decided to part ways.  Sam headed off to help a young girl find her hunter father who had gone missing, while Dean headed to find Frank so he could learn the meaning of the numbers Bobby gave them right before he died. As it turns out, the numbers led to a field in Wisconsin, where it looks like the leviathans are planning on building something.  Exactly what that "something" is remains to be seen.  But when Sam got captured by some bloodsucking vetalas, Dean headed off to save his brother and the missing hunter, with a little help from the young girl who turned out to be pretty awesome.  The boys hit the open road at the end of the episode, now truly alone in the world. 'Supernatural' E.P. talks Bobby's death, Castiel, clowns and unicorns, and whether romance is on the table (Spoiler alert: No.)

"Supernatural" E.P. Sera Gamble has certainly made some controversial decisions since taking over as showrunner, not the least of which was the death of Bobby (Jim Beaver), the only character outside of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) who has survived since Season 1.If it makes you feel better, Gamble tells us that the move to kill Bobby off wasn't an easy one for her, either. "Clearly, we were very upset in the writers' room when we were breaking that episode," she tells us. "One of the big themes this season and challenges for Sam & Dean has been about taking away the tools that they've come to rely on and the support system that they've come to rely on. We didn't have that big of a pool to draw on to begin with. This show is pretty famous for killing people off. It's a precedent that was set pretty early on."The tragic exit... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/01/supernatural-ep-talks-bobbys-death-castiel-clowns-and-unicorns-and-whether-romance-is-on-the-table-s.html

Supernatural Episode 7.12 Promo: "Because That is the Chicago Way"

The Winchesters split up for a while on the Supernatural winter premiere (as if splitting up is ever a good idea!).  After Bobby died (yes, died ) the brothers spent a few weeks holed up in Rufus' cabin, while Dean started on his quest for revenge against Dick Roman.  Sam, meanwhile, went off to help a young girl (Krissy) with a hunter father (Lee) who had called Bobby for help. Dean met up with tech wiz Frank and the two eventually learned that the leviathans were building something important in a field in Wisconsin. Sam did find the missing Lee, but he also got captured by the same monsters who had captured him.  Krissy contacted Dean, who set off to track down Sam (who didn't have all the necessary information to defeat the monster).  Fortunately, Dean and Krissy arrived in the nick of time, and after a few mishaps they were able to take down the monsters and save Sam and her father.  More specifically, Krissy was able to kill the first monster on her own.  She was definitely a tough girl.
